Streaming Player Updates - Steve_ - 02-28-2024
For those of you who use the monthly streaming option to purchase our subliminals, we revamped the media player with a couple new features!
Here's an overview of the changes:
- Usage Log - a time/date log is updated every time you use the player. This is great for keeping track of your usage at a glance
- Removed the volume control. Volume is now set by your device
- Select between number of loops and minutes - for those only wanting to play a partial loop (ie, E6 users)
- Ultrasonic is now the default drop-down option in the track selection. You can still click the dropdown to select masked or other formats of your subliminal to play.
- A bunch of visual improvements including automatic dark mode based on your device settings
- Numerous bug fixes and improvements
Each device has an independent Usage Log, and the log will be wiped on that device if you clear your browser cache.
In effect: if you play 2 loops on your phone on Monday, the timestamp for Monday's session will only be available on your phone and not your PC or any other device. Likewise, if you played 2 loops on Tuesday on your laptop, only Tuesday's session will be captured on your laptop.
Why, you might ask? This was a future-feature and cost-based tradeoff. We plan on creating an android/ios app that handles playing both full-downloads and monthly streaming. This was the best and most cost effective option to ensure smooth transition for our future plans.
