RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-13-2026 Day 105, Recording daily videos of myself talking to a camera is very helpful, especially the rewatch. It's occurring to me that I talk with a facts-first, surface-level emotional tone. A good friend once said that I talk like ChatGPT, which is pretty funny but also true in certain respects. Watching other people's videos has me clueing in to the fact that it's just a camera pointing at them too, and to the fact that they're much more expressive and emotional than me. Exploring that difference pulled up an emotional peanut-butter-in-throat sensation, which I've since processed. Not sure if that will help loosen my on-camera disposition. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-14-2026 Day 106, Recorded a new video where I allowed myself to feel more emotion and carelessness while talking. I notice that it feels like a vast ocean and that uncertainty translates to uptalk (ending sentences with upwards inflections). I'll need to audit why this is happening. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - RTBoss - 08-15-2026 Love the introspection, D. Over the years, I've found that allowing others to be themselves, accepting who they are and where they're at, frees me to accept myself as I am. You're either the jailer or the liberator of yourself by how you choose to perceive others. When you perceive others without judgement, you release yourself to live without concern for how others perceive you. As Keith likes to say, the journey continues! RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-15-2026 Day 107, Had a pretty sick day; jiu jitsu, mowed a lawn for some lady, walked around the mall to lessen my social anxiety and maybe talk to some women (didn't happen), bumped into a friend, and we bought some clothes - I found amazing fits for summer nights - then had dinner with a couple of friends. I was out at a dance club tonight. I'm trying new things. I can feel myself like a fledgling plant trying to bust through concrete instead of what I tried a few years ago where I'd rebound back to my original level. Went up to some girls to dance; some said yes, some said no. Got a couple of numbers after some conversation outside; club numbers are hit and miss. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-17-2026 Day 109, I'm clueing in to just deep this rabbit hole goes in terms of how much society wants to put blinders on all of us and to lead us around by the nose. A cool Facebook creator is named "Arelyssias Wolf", which does go into esotericism but it's very much directly applicable to principles of the unconscious. I think that men have the extra potential sauce of gaining a full sober view of society, having a grand vision for society, and rallying his forces until he realizes it in physical reality. Women point out that dynamism when they say that men "used to build houses" - what an extravagant compliment that is! And though I don't ascribe malice to these pleasure-optimizing technologies, they have men addicted across multiple levels. It's really interesting that I haven't played more than two hours of video games in the past 3.5 months since starting this program. Or have gotten myself all that drunk. Or watched that much porn; I have had some streaks where I did do that. And that I've gotten myself a hot fuck buddy that I have great sex with once a week at this point. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-18-2026 Day 110, It's quite interesting how I don't feel the pull of any major goals, wishes, dreams, or desires right now. And I probably haven't for the past week or so. My big thing right now is introspection and processing any unusual emotions. I want a lot of money, but I have no desire to improve my product, write ads, write copy, advertise, or sell. Go figure! If I weren't running a revolutionary subliminal program, I'd be horribly concerned. But I remember how lit up I'd feel from Day 1 Stage 1 of the 5G AM program, so I'm not too worried. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-20-2026 Day 112, I think that I'm walking away with the correct maturation of Stage 0; a very unique set of conclusions tailored to my unique perspective and past experiences. A lot of it relates to a societal trance and self-hypnosis; I won't go much deeper into it. I am also witnessing my own machine-like tendencies in relation to my apathy and inaction toward my own goals and dreams. I'm also seeing the glimpses of light where my own personal Will transcends the social conditioning around me, and the action itself wasn't terribly difficult. Have been watching someone named Owen Cook - who used to run the pick-up company called Real Social Dynamics - but now the teachings start with social freedom and more esoteric concepts related to that. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-20-2026 Stage 0 Review: I've got about one loop-through left of Stage 0, so I want to give my thoughts about how it's going. Biggest Takeaways:
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Desires for Stage 1:
RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-21-2026 Day 113, Had a dream where I booked additional trips to Colombia and Mexico on top of my Italy trip. My friend - who is older, rich, and successful - was the pilot to a private plane to Colombia. Barely felt the plane take off because it was a smaller plane. At first I enjoyed the idea of the vacations, then I panicked about affording it, and how to navigate it all alone. I worried about what my parents would think about all my vacations, and about what my work would think about me. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-21-2026 Noticing that things surrounding my self-worth are feeling raw at the moment. Money related and relationship topics feel heavy. It's a shame that I feel stuck in both, even though I've had modest success in both areas. Feels as though there's some internal heaviness standing between me and getting what I truly want; otherwise, I assume that it would feel like a straight line to success. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-24-2026 Day 116, I'm impressed at how much Stage 0 has lit a fire in me to attack the programming that's played a major role in stifling me and my current place in life. And yet, my innate motivation to move everything forward is a bit low, yet I know that Stage 1 will start to fix things. There are certain domains in which I can stand to apply much deliberate practice - business, social skills, dating and relationships. I'll need to break down a lot of skills into sub-components; that way, I can build proper systems. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 08-24-2026 I've started thinking about status; I think the massmarket appeal to the "sigma" male is that you get to cosplay as a high-status person without having to do anything to prove it. The actual sigmas have the behaviors and thought-patterns of being able to send out high status signals and signifiers, but simply choose not to plug in. In reality, they *could* plug in and do quite well. The wannabe sigmas exhibit low behaviors and thought-patterns, yet delude themselves into thinking that they don't receive status and respect because they've chosen (oh so honorably) not to plug into a system. The whole exercise is a way to avoid confronting the fact that they just wouldn't cut it. A true example of a sigma is Crocodile Dundee; he is so emmeshed in his own frame of wilderness survival and self-sufficiency that he enters a city with millions and draws people into his "way" of doing things; even gets to break what appear to be non-negotiable rules. He is truly non-reactive, and his body language and tonality are self-contained. He never wilts under the circumstances. He is "in the game" in his own way and manages to get success in that domain. He could plug into any system and do reasonably well, as long as it suits his interests and disposition. Might even become the head of a company. He sees the possibilities and just assumes that he can realize them. In short, try to be Crocodile Dundee. |
