RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Frosted - 06-14-2026 What draws you to Ross Jefferey's material? He was unflatteringly portrayed in "The Game" by Neil Strauss. But to be fair, so was Owen Cook, and I've gotten a lot of value from Owen. Hypnosis has always fascinated me, though I'd feel a bit conflicted using it on someone if they didn't know. What's been your experience so far? What made you switch to Ross Jefferey's from what you were doing before? What made you switch to Ross Jefferey's from what you were doing before? What drew me to Jeffreys' stuff is that you get to infuse whichever feelings, emotions, and traits that you'd like the other person to live up to. There's no forcing anyone to do or feel anything; you're simply making suggestions which register at their subconscious level; they are free to reject it as well. The alternative is to consciously spike emotions, looksmax, stylemax, social circlemax. The guy now does business consulting - goes by his real name of Paul Ross - and the concepts are quite similar; you sell by getting the person to convince themselves that they are making a good decision, not by peppering them with sleaze, logic, stats, graphs, and objection busters. In fact, this style of talking operates past the "socially acceptance" mind frame of reality that women often date within, where they filter their dating choices based on what their friends and family think; the realm of the dating checklists and icks. Jeffreys' frames this talking style as a gift which you offer to women, since it facilitates them feeling feelings that isn't typically encouraged in them. The NLP camp seems to have always been in a conflict with the social value/party game camp. You can find the 8 hour 'Speed Seduction' video tapes on YouTube and see for yourself. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 06-17-2026 Day 48, My attitude is growing towards the idea of life being this thing to get excited about. To be experienced and explored. To fully realize this fact I need to get some money so that I can buy all of the small to medium-sized purchases which definitely add up, especially when on a salary. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 06-17-2026 I helped my friend move some stuff between his current houseand sister's house (that he owns), that he'll be able to live in solo after a few months. For some reason, my body has been tense since the start of our hangout, at the restaurant, and since getting home alone. He has such an ease and flow about him; very much a social butterfly. He's also wealthy, but those things typically don't bother me. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 06-18-2026 Day 49, I spoke to a new gal at the gym today; tall, tattooed, and white and black hair dye. She was a bit chatty at first, but then I felt as though I was losing her within the first 30 seconds, as though she was waiting for a lull to break things off. She eventually did at around the two minute mark. With her, I didn't really *feel* anything in terms of a desire toward going to meet her, yet at the same time I really didn't feel any anxiety at the same time I think that there's still unconscious turmoil, and maybe she picked up on that. When I feel things as getting lost, I tend to ask questions; can they ask for more than that? Maybe my go-to NLP 'pattern' isn't that good; I'll need to workshop it. It sounds more like game with an NLP flavor to it than anything. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 06-20-2026 Day 51, My body - my torso and especially my upper torso - are tense, despite my mind feeling vivid and relaxed. I've blown through draft 2 of my book, and I've used AI to create all of the inner illustrations for it, exactly in the way that I had hoped for. We are truly spoiled in this era! I'm applying a similar process toward fact-checking. RE: AM 7.0 - The Measure of a Man / Morrison Shouts in my Ear - Ampersnd - 06-23-2026 Day 54, I've been very jittery and distractable these past three days. It's probably no coincidence that I've added a new full-caffeine coffee bean to the mix. Might need to toss it and see if that's the main cause of my problems. |
