RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Shannon - 11-19-2015 (11-14-2015, 06:31 PM)yeah! Wrote: So you dont think that all conscious thought floats up from the subconscious? The subconscious records all of what we are aware of on all five physical sensory "channels", and everything we are not consciously aware of, but as to thoughts and cognition I currently believe that we have levels of awareness and different parts of our awareness as well. It's not just black and white, conscious and subconscious; you have levels of conscious awareness and levels of subconscious awareness, and some parts are capable of contradicting other parts on both sides of the fence. Some experiments I have done suggest that there are both emotional and non-emotional parts to the subconscious side of awareness and the conscious side of awareness. The subconscious emotional part may experience fear, while the non-emotional part does not. Interacting with them may produce vastly different reactions to the same stimulus. We do not possess "free will" the way we consciously would like to believe we do. Most of our actions are really based on a set of primarily subconscious beliefs and their results as we execute them without even knowing we are doing so. They are routine, reactive, repetitive and predictable. That is not to say we have no free will; witness the person whose subconscious attempts to keep them at 300+ pounds and their conscious desire fights to lose the weight. But it is most likely that unless those subconscious beliefs that create and maintain the state are changed, conscious efforts of free will may be defeated or subtly directed and shaped by subconscious programming that we consciously do not realize we have or are executing. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Shannon - 11-19-2015 (11-14-2015, 02:34 PM)yeah! Wrote: Shannon what is your opinion on dealing with resistance or more importantly accepting the subs message quicker and more fully? Resistance must be dealt with by understanding it, consciously acting to thwart it, mastering it through knowledge, understanding, wisdom and experience, and using methods that can alleviate and neutralize it. The subconscious mind is easily dominated by the conscious mind. Think of a symphony being drowned out by an air horn. The air horn in this case is the much simpler and louder conscious mind. But the symphony (subconscious) can play forever, while the air horn will eventually run out of air. When the conscious is distracted, and when it is asleep, the subconscious asserts itself. But the subconscious is not good at decision making, as far as I can see. It's good at running previously established programming. Whatever that program says, it does. Even if it is patently illogical, ridiculous, or even blatantly self destructive. Where does the desire to use subs cone from? Likely both sides of the fence. But as to which wants more, I would say my money is on the conscious mind. Unless of course you're dealing with resistance trying to get you to stop using Sub A for Sub B. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Shannon - 11-19-2015 (11-14-2015, 12:06 PM)Survivor Wrote: Shannon, what is fear actually? Fear. On the forum we've seen it mentioned like a thousand times but never actually explained thorougly? Is it an emotion/instinct/response? What is the definition of fear? Fear is an experience of being threatened as perceived by the animal brain. It is instinctual/emotional and has its roots in the oldest parts of the brain as a basic survival mechanism. Humans have awareness that ranges from very basic and instinctual through to the conscious awareness and ability to rationalize, conceptualize, plan and achieve the understanding necessary for things like space travel and quantum physics. As we advance, the more basic parts of our awareness are starting to clash with the more advanced parts of our awareness. We are less and less needing fear, because we can think, and yet fear seems to be the root cause of almost all human limitation and failure. It is possible to move past fear; we are not doomed to always be afraid because it is instinctual and therefore impossible to completely escape. It's not. But right now we are at the point in the history of the human race where fear is still present along with the higher levels of awareness, and they are clashing. Knowledge erases fear. Understanding erases fear. Experience erases fear. Wisdom erases fear. And what are all of these? States of being more aware than less aware. The greater our awareness at all levels, the less we experience fear. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Shannon - 11-19-2015 (11-14-2015, 12:03 PM)zainuu163 Wrote: Question for Shannon... It's been ongoing research over a course of years, and the realization was starting in 2012. Fear isn't a form of guilt or shame. As far as I can tell, fear is likely the root of all other negative emotional states. Stop masturbating includes OGSF. Unfortunately, private communications can't be made except through e-mail, and I have to avoid even that or I would never get ANY work done, answering all the questions and comments and requests. So I primarily communicate through the forums. Sorry, but I do have to focus on working instead of communicating with all of you so communications must be limited and directed if I am going to get work done and continue to advance the technologies and business. I'm the one who coined the term "transcendent alpha", but the concept may not have originated with me. Status can be independent of others because it can be self chosen instead of chosen by those around you. I have the status I have because I choose it to be so, and what others think of my status does not matter. That is internally designated status, and it ironically generates a higher status externally. You can find out more about transcendent alpha on this forum with a search, and of course, the other resources mentioned. What would be the benefit of running OF 5g by itself? Less demand on the mind? I share that spiderweb theory of the mind as well, but I've come to realize some anchor points have more influence than others and you have to tackle them first to get to the others. EHPRA has OF in it as part of OGSF. The benefit is that of using a flashlight versus a laser beam. More focus, more specific, more intense in one goal. As to the latter statement, the goal is to ultimately be able to dissolve them all at once, equally fast. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Dilettante - 11-19-2015 so when will the new myps be available in the store? As in would take longer? I do have a lot of other problems that ehpra would deal with at the same time. By the looks of it, I could use another 6 months of OF to really make a difference. On that note, do the people with OF 4g get a discount on the 5g version like with AM5 -> AM6 or is it full price? I am currently sober and doing the PMO reset, the withdrawal symptoms with the resistance from OF can be quite tense, last night I apparently screamed in my sleep and woke up my brother. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - dissonance - 11-19-2015 Thanks for these great posts; really great info. I just had a couple questions about these following statements: "If the conscious awareness wants lots of sex with what it deems to be gorgeous women, the subconscious mind notes that and then faithfully executes whatever programming it has accumulated previously, which it believes is what you want of it." "The subconscious is trying to execute a set of instructions that it has accepted as true, and therefore that it believes make you happy and keep you safe. It's not supposed to be changing in the wind." --- When you say "instructions" and "programming" do you mean from subliminals, or instructions and programming from life experiences in general, including subliminals? If it is the later, what part of our consciousness is giving out the instructions and programming to our subconscious? Is that what we would call the ego? RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Survivor - 11-19-2015 Shannon, by increasing the sex drive with stage 4-5-6 of AM, WM or SM, is it possible to get an increased testosterone as a secondary effect? Is it actually legit to believe that by using your programs to destroy fear, raise our esteem, confidence, etc, and everything great they do, that we are actually prone to having a lot of secondary positive side efrects as for example longer life, more dopamine, or whatever else which could be an unconsidered side result? RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - maxx55 - 11-19-2015 Hey Shannon! Is OF 5G going to include some of the suggestions from thread in the Suggestions forum? Specifically, I'm hoping it'll have something related to improving self-esteem, make facing fears natural, and destroying a victim mentality. One more question, Shannon. I'm about to invest in some earphones/earbuds. I know it's early to judge, but I want my equipment to be up to date when 6G arrives. So will 6G take advantage of any higher frequencies or use any technology that isn't already required by 5G?
