There's no reason to. 6G is advancing through DMSI. It's going to eventually form the 6G skeleton script. It makes sense to use DMSI for this because it's the most advanced sub with the most 6G tech and has a lofty goal to push the tech to the limit and beyond. Each version adds more backported 6G tech to evaluate it in the field and tweak as necessary. Except for V2.3, as that just removed modules for testing purposes.
Don't worry man, NONE of us want 6G to take a nanosecond longer than possible, lol. Nobody is hijacking Shannon from 6G
.

You have to keep in mind that DMSI is primarily an exo-sub, designed to affect those around us.
I'm guessing you haven't tried EPRHA 2.0, which is another 5.5G, though I would say quite a bit less complex than DMSI since E 2.0 was the first 5.5G, and therefore contains less 6G tech.
Using E 2.0 100% convinced me that we're going into crazy and uncharted territory. Shannon has already admitted that he's working on the bleeding edge of what's possible with current tech.
My point is that it might be that exo-subs require a different approach than normal subs which are designed to create most of the changes within you, not to others around you.
That's why DMSI has been updated so much, because Shannon is still figuring it out, but generally speaking the 6G tech so far released (via 5.5G) works like magic in terms of affecting fast and dramatic change within the user.
Losing hope in 6G tech right now is like eating a tiny food sample and being disappointed because you think that's all you get. Hold on there, you still need to try the full meal!
DMSI as it is right now has 19 6G backports in it. Shannon has already said there are like 70 - 80 that he still has to test out.
So let's not judge results so quickly on 5.5G tech which is by definition only a fraction of what 6G has to offer when fully developed.
As a note, I'm not even interested in all the DMSI stuff! Lol Give me Ultimate Writer, even as a 5.5G and I'm pretty damn sure I'll be a happy camper

Terrible resistance tonight on v2.3. Not the depressive kind. The angry kind. Heard someone say something absolutely ridiculous, entitled and rude to a group of people minding their business and I totally snapped, took everything not to pound his face in. Now it's got me in that "why am I running this?" mood. Wanna go to BASE 4g and UM.
But, I'm gonna suck it up, run v2.3 for 32 days as promised.

probably MLS 5.5g since the last version was no working or LM/US combo that some users are requesting. What I notice Shannon is focusing more on development instead of creation.

I believe Shannon mentioned he wanted to complete MIR2 and MHS (Maximum Healing Speed) 5.5G first. After that, he'll probably work on...whatever. I'd love to see an MLS 5.5G though and I'm confident we'll get it within the next 4-6 months.
Its been mentioned a couple times but I'll say it again. Even though Shannon is working on DMSI, the development of DMSI is going to facilitate the creation of upcoming 5.5G and ultimately 6G technology. So in the mean time, I'm happy to wait around until MHS and MLS 5.5G drop.
Although since we're talking about it, might as well mention this. Since I (and Johnathan here) have used MLS extensively I want to go ahead and put it in Shannon's ear that whenever he does get to MLS 5.5G (no rush Shannon, please take your time
) he's got to make sure MLS 5.5G tackles procrastination and laziness. Those were the major killers of MLS 4G (IMO) and based off reports from some MLS 5G users it seems that it wasn't tackled appropriately there either.

I've suggested it before that it cover 'get the shit done that needs to git done,when and as it needs to git done!!" and #2) be able to sleep when ya need to no matter how much or how little one has listened to E3!( In E3's case I'd assume that the amount of time wont be nearly as much as with E2 - NO complaints on 5.5 G version,time usage wise at all!- seeing as how many of the new 6G tech's will be included in the new version.) I alrady Have BAMM and am sooo looking forward to that, to the day when US/LM/MM(money Mag. combo,if it is combined,almost certain that US and LM will combined) might be sometime in 2017 'er 18 fer BAMM,but who know. we shall see. grateful fer the possiblities.

I think you were asking on another thread if people wanted healing or no healing in v3.
I'm still a big believer in the healing module you put in 2.2 because after a few weeks I felt like my muscles were so relaxed like I had just had a massage. I can still feel that kind of relaxation even now.
I guess my only input on this point would be this:
it seems to me from my experience that I'm in a car in park. I start the car and put my foot on the gas and my other foot on the brake. Then I put the car in drive. Then I add more and more gas. But the car doesn't go any where because the brake is still on. So it seems that with each version the attraction and arousal gets higher (adding more and more gas) but it doesn't seem to go any where because there is that metaphoric brake on (women disappearing, being avoidant, being inhibited, you know the drill...). So I don't know what might be going on... sure add more and more gas... but something needs to be done about the brake and unfortunately I don't know what to offer you. I just know that is my experience and the best metaphor I can think of.

I'm finishing MIR2, developing 6G prototype, working on MHS. I'm also in negotiations for a private custom contract, and I am planning to work on DMSI 3.0 and MLS 5.5G.
