RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - Steve_ - 11-01-2017 ETN is live on the https://www.cryptopia.co.nz exchange at 14 to 15 cents a piece! .00002 BTC, which is 14 cents. so...with that logic... I just made $6500 HOLD YOUR COINS its going to keep going up! 14 cents is NOTHING RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-01-2017 (11-01-2017, 01:03 PM)Zane Wrote: Thanks Alpha. Me and my Brother Managed to mine 1000 ETN in like 3 hours as soon as it was released but then miners increased as everyone started mining and idk what happened we only manage 5 ETN in like 8 hours. Hashrate was from 50 - 160 but was mostly 160 on laptop. I made 100 ETN last night, around 8 hours, hashrate 300h/S RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - Determined - 11-01-2017 Great news seeing my investment increase 950%. I'm a relative newb when it comes to cryptos, can someone give me a quick run down about offline wallets and security Thanks in advance RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-01-2017 From what I understand offline wallet you have to save the private keys on a paper. IT seems to be different from bitcoin though as there is no seed for now. Public keys can be shared with anyone to accept payment but private should never be revealed. Best seems to load a linux from a usb stick, then load the offline wallet app from it (to create your wallet) So you are sure there is less possible security leaks. I'm going to do that for my 8000etn wallet. For now with only 100ETN in a wallet it doesn't really matter yet. I submitted 11 450 258 hash last night with my gpu RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-01-2017 After 1 night the mining profit is way less, yesterday the estimate gave 300ETN per day with my gpu hashrate and now it gives 112. http://electroneum.hashparty.io/# Ryzen CPU seems to be more powerful to mine, with a ryzen 6 core cpu I was able to have 350h/s, more than my laptop gpu. And it was only using 6 threads out of 12 so 50% of the cpu. I wasn't able to use 12 threads for some reasons. PS: just after my post it went from 112 to 105, it seems the demand is growing fast. Maybe we will end up billionaire. RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - Determined - 11-01-2017 I'm in the process of starting to mine which is a little confusing. My public wallet is the same as my "wallet address" correct? Also what are threads? This is the part I'm stuck on "Once your node is synced you can start mining to an existing wallet address or create a wallet (We recommend using the offline wallet generator above to create your wallet address). To start with your own wallet address type: “start_mining <wallet_address> <number_of_threads>”. This will start mining into your specified wallet address. To create a new wallet inside the cmd prompt, start the electroneum-wallet-cli (double click the file) and follow the on screen prompts to create your wallet. Once that has loaded, type “start_mining <threads>” to start mining to your newly created wallet." Thanks RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-02-2017 You are using linux I GUESS? It's a bit more complicated on linux, I just used that tuto on linux and it works well. https://www.cryptocurrencyfreak.com/2017/08/22/monero-mining-xmr-stak-cpu-ubuntu-16-04/ Thread are the cpu core plus virtual core. Desktop i3 is 4thread, i5 4thread, i7 8thread Type your cpu on google to be sure. Wallet address if asked is always the public one RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - Determined - 11-02-2017 I have 8 threads, should I be using all of them when I mine? RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-02-2017 yes, try and see, you risk nothing, it won't explode, just an error message if you put too much. The more you use the better usually. RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-02-2017 What's your config, windows, linux, laptop, desktop? do you have a gpu? RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - Determined - 11-02-2017 Windows, I'm having trouble putting my wallet address in the in "electroneum wallet cli" I'm assuming my wallet address is the "public wallet" when I create a offline paper wallet? RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - JackOfHearts - 11-02-2017 https://downloads.electroneum.com/Electroneum_Pool_Miner_v1.1_setup.exe try this one first, it's simple, no CLI required yes it's the public address, always and for ever (for mining purpose) You can even use my address if you feel like giving me some free coin: etnk4HbfQvAh43wRmXrgu7HUWLo4nUWoAAQd6NC9R3qLbCoWzbw7o7zJe3Tr7Aqpcy8dw5mgckwvhc6dEpicdmYR5JzGzGZYXj RE: Bitcoin, Electroneum, Cryptocurrency | A New Crypto currency - Determined - 11-02-2017 I just tried to mine to your wallet address, same problem. It says "No wallet found with that name. Confirm creation of new wallet |
