Ryan RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-16-2011 That's pretty funny, Ryan. That reminds me of the episode of Californication where Runkle is having sex with that Asian and she's checking her e-mail during. Yeah, the quiet librarian types are crazy in bed. It has never been proven to me to be any other way. Those are the kind that I look for. I can tell the types too because the polarity is usually so hot that everything just goes unspoken anyway. They're also the ones that I have to put the least effort in to getting. We hang out once and that's that, usually. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Ryan - 11-16-2011 I was thinking more of the scene from Forgetting Sarah Marshall where the girl keeps starring into his eyes and saying "Hi" Ryan RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - RainbowAbyss - 11-17-2011 (11-16-2011, 03:48 PM)Ryan Wrote: I was thinking more of the scene from Forgetting Sarah Marshall where the girl keeps starring into his eyes and saying "Hi" haha- "this is kind of uncomfortable " "you can gag me if you want" RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Spiral - 11-17-2011 LOL. Love the librarian types. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Spiral - 11-17-2011 Hey Cortez, I'm thinking of copying your morning ritual. How long do the effects last because I usually burn out around 2 or 3pm. If it's only a temporary thing like 4 or 5 hours I'd take it in the afternoon. I feel that if you're healthy and eating a nutritionally balanced diet then your body should be making your neurotransmitters in a balanced and correct way. Your body is constantly trying to achieve homeostasis. You just have to give it what it needs to be able to do that. For instance, I have a natural dopamine boosting brain formula that I take in the morning. It consists of 1000mg Phenylalanine(The amino acid precursor to Dopamine in your brain), 1000mg Vitamin C(Your brain uses it to synthesize the Dopamine), and 50mg B6(A transporter for the other nutrients). I bought all of these in bulk on ebay, each ingredient by itself and I take it in the morning on an empty stomach. I just mix all of it in powder form with water and powdered powerade for flavoring. It works incredibly well! High Dopamine levels in the brain do all sorts of good stuff for you. I'm generally, happier, more focused, and more talkative when I take it. It just makes me better at whatever I'm doing. So that's something I did because I felt like I wasn't as focused as I could be. You can always help your brain chemistry out with natural supplements, I think. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-17-2011 That's just the thing. Spiral, it's not like coffee where it burns out your epinephrine and dopamine reserves and then causes you to crash. In fact, it doesnt force your body to release any more of either of those at all, so it won't be like an immediate energy boost. It gives your body the raw materials to naturally produce more of both of those neurotransmitters and so it is an escalating effect the longer you take. After a week, you should be feeling more social and ready to go after your goals more as well as being able to focus better and not identifying so strongly with your emotions...such are the effects of high levels of dopamine. It also just generally makes you better at whatever you're doing. I love the stuff. I want to continue taking it forever. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-18-2011 The downside of having the sheer amount of dopamine I have running through my system that I do have now is that I am way too damn aggressive. I have to calm myself down many times a day. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-24-2011 I'm still hitting the ASC and Joy subliminals hard. As always with ASC, I am more strongly motivated to work out than when I am not on it. Considering the fact that I work out regularly regardless this has led to some crazy intense workouts. ASC is like an alpha male program in itself. At least for me that is. I don't know if I am feeling much effect from the Happiness and Joy yet, but maybe that one takes a little longer to set in. Me being super dominant is definitely a plus, though, because the girl I'm seeing now is way in to BDSM stuff and identifies as a sub. It's very interesting for sure, but I can more than facilitate her needs, lol and I must say, that this kind of relationship seems to make both people a lot more trusting and open with each other. It could potentially lead to a lot deeper intimacy than I'm used to. I'm very much enjoying, whatever direction it may go ultimately. Genuine D/s relationships most definitely result in a vastly more deep and profound level of trust and intimacy than most vanilla relationships achieve. Playing at it is just going to be a game, but if it comes as a real natural response to one another, you'll see some really eye opening, life-changing intimacy develop - as long as you are compatible, maintain communication effectively, and stay safe, sane and consensual. There's nothing more valuable a woman can offer you than her trust, because it is from that trust that all the other things will sprout and grow. Genuine submission definitely requires trust, and that is why a genuine submissive, and her gift of submission, are each extraordinary and beautiful things. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-25-2011 Yes, that's really what it boils down too. We don't get in to the freaky stuff. She just REALLY likes to be dominated in very intense ways and by a man she can really trust. You're quite right, Shannon. It can be very deeply intimate. I enjoy it a lot. That seems to be the type if women I generally attract too, not on this level, but somewhat like it. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-27-2011 I've decided to start meditating again like I used to. I used to feel way more connected to everything around me when I did. It's been several years since that time and some of it has stuck with me, but I'd like that feeling back. It was so peaceful. RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-27-2011 Ha! You know...maybe that^ is the Happiness and Joy talking. I realized that right after I posted it. I'm being led to be more connected with people around me. |
