RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - SargeMaximus - 10-19-2013 No problem, and thanks for the revelation, I can sleep now. RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - Shannon - 10-19-2013 Build environment is back up and I've been working on pass 1 of the script adjustment for a few hours now. This program is going to require at least 7 passes of adjustment and optimization before I can begin building it. But, that's good news, because I have found some really great ways to improve it. However these seven passes will extend the build time, but they will vastly improve the quality and effectiveness of the final product. So since I like producing the best possible quality, y'all can just wait while I make this thing kick ass. I have had a few times now, even during Pass 1, where my eyes opened in surprise at just how big and powerful an impact an optimization made. I can see this is shaping up to be a home run. RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - Jakeb203 - 10-19-2013 fantasic! Keep up the good work Shannon. Jake RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - mat422 - 10-20-2013 Shannon I haven't completed AM 5 yet, but I just wanted to let you know I'm glad you are going with a minimalist approach for AM 6. I just felt like AM 5.0 got too bloated and it tried to do too much of everything. I think narrowing down the focus will result in some good results. RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - SargeMaximus - 10-20-2013 Shannon, I've been thinking more about success and beliefs today. Does AM 6 have anything that will change people so they expect success and good things to happen without caring about it WHEN it does? To me, it's not just about caring if you'll fail, but also the sudden clingy-ness and desperation that is revealed when a person starts seeing success. Much like someone who is starving and has accepted it, they may seem calm, but the instant food is put in front of their face, they will change into a desperate and ravenous animal. I take this from my journal because I don't know how often you read those, but it's basically how I see it: (10-20-2013, 09:51 AM)SargeMaximus Wrote: You [should] expect good things to happen, because they always happen, and you've become acclimated to success in such a way that it doesn't even phase you. GOOD things happening is the default, whereas in the model I currently follow, BAD things happening is the default which is (I believe) why it's so hard to start having success. The instant success starts to materialize, I cling to it and push it away. RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - Shannon - 10-21-2013 That is a response based in insecurity and fear. OGSF and other additions will deal with that. You seem to be trying to deal with fears and insecurity and lack by choosing not to want anything, not care, etc. which is a good way to be tranquil and still. But stillness does not move us forward in life. One must have inner tranquility based on genuine self mastery, which allows the self to at once be tranquil and still seek for betterment in ways that will drive us in life, both externally as well as internally. The goal of AM6 is to be the tool that strips you down, and builds you into what you have the potential to be, while leaving you with the choice of how you express it (in terms of the things you do with your transformations). If you wish to be tranquil and seek stillness but not seek great success and/or wealth externally, AM6 allows for that in as far as it will seek to make you more successful and destroy procrastination, but not force you to seek outside yourself for happiness. We want to take you down and rebuild you into what you have the potential to be within yourself and externally. Takedown is minimized if it is unnecessary, but you could use the analogy that an old beat up junked original VW Bug could be retrieved from the junk yard, stripped down to parts, new parts brought in, old parts rebuilt, and then the whole reassembled, tuned and optimized to create the most badass collectible drag racing VW Bug ever. It may still be a bug, but now it's got a much more powerful engine, much higher torque, better tires, better balance, more efficiency, and a much better look too. And if you don't need "takedown" we'll just upgrade and improve the existing parts "in place" to achieve the same goal. Instead of giving up desire, because you can't figure out how to accomplish something, you can figure out how to accomplish it and then assess whether you want to give up desire for the reasons it is actually supposed to be surrendered. I actually don't even know what you mean. I was simply talking about having an attachment to the outcome. I find I'm attached to the "good" outcomes, while the "bad" outcomes I don't care about. They are my default position. I do want "good" outcomes to be my default position, but I find that because I cling to "good" things as soon as they arise, I push them away. I think that should be addressed. RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - Shannon - 10-22-2013 ok. RE: What about AM5 do I need to fix in AM6? - rayrocanaldo - 10-26-2013 Shannon, I think if you manage to mix the naturalizer with the ability to see the new changes clearly AM6 will be producing, people won't be complaining that they haven't seen any changes. I myself complained of depression, but it was that very depression that was helpful to my growth. Sometimes it's the nature of the beast.
