This is what happened on Day 48/62 - Mon 6.2.2025

I returned to work after 7 weeks off to recover from surgery for an ICD-implantable cardioverter defibrillator.

I’ve been attending social gatherings with most of my friends/coworkers, so they already know the details of what I’ve been through.  Management told me that as soon as I feel up to it, let them know & they would ask me to work extra hours.

I’ve been working 8 hours a day.  Getting back to my routine has its challenges. Taking Mom to her sister & picking her up, & getting ready for the next day. It slipped my mind to listen to X4A-1600+DRS 6G. I was so far behind with “Days On”, I decided to stop completely.

The program works. However, I screen the women when I talk to them; if they smoke or drink, I move on.  I prefer women with a small bust & slim, toned figure. Other body types, I move on. 

If you have a conversation with any person, male or female, they all have a look or body part that turns them on. Redheads, blondes, and brunettes, people have their favorites. We don’t have to understand why; this is just the way it is. Accept it & go with the flow.

Her: I can’t go out with you.
Me: May I ask why?

Her: It was nice meeting you, too.

Parents have a strong grip on their children.  When I was 21 y/o, my fiancé’s Mom encouraged her to return the ring & break off the engagement. She told me the reason, but I was so distraught & cried so hard, to this day I have no idea what she said. I kept staring at the ring in the palm of my hand. I cried everywhere I went for a week!! The tears flowed from my eyes, I couldn’t stop it, even though I didn’t want anyone to see me that way.  My mind said stop, but the body kept the tears flowing.

An older friend/coworker gently told me, “You need to go out & get laid. It’s the only way you’ll get over her.”  It took about a year & a half, & I followed his advice.  I didn’t want to feel that pain again, so I searched for a friend with benefits. These benefits end when she finds someone for a long-term relationship, or she moves too far away to meet up.

The woman I was engaged to?? Around 6 months later, she married & divorced 2 years later.
