Just a little update. I've been running masked at night and feel SO much better. I will continue to use it this way for now. I haven't really had the chance to see how well I feel about going to places that usually cause a lot of anxiety, but as of right now I feel pretty good, more content. The only time I have taken medication in the 3+ weeks was Christmas Eve when I visited my father's house, but that was more of a precautionary thing...which I am sure the need for that will be gone in the future.
