RE: I Will Get Hired (In 5G) - Shannon - 06-13-2013

Isn't fear useless? So what if they throw it out for that reason. It's the same as any other reason they throw it out for... the end result is that they threw it out. But they might not; you can't project that onto them. They make their choices for their own reasons. In the end, fear is useless, because it is simply a numbers game when you are applying for a job. Do you feel fear when you roll the dice and you don't get the result you wanted? Why would you fear that your CV will be tossed for that reason then? Just get it out there to 10 times as many different places. It's just a numbers game... until and unless you are self employed, of course.

I understand and agree with what you are saying Shannon but isn't it also said that applying to twenty different locations is acting out of fear by being desperate for any job.

I guess you live and learn for what amount is best for yourself

Thanks

Not at all. When I was applying for work recently I emailed my CV to about 30 in quite a relaxed manner. I didn't really care if none of the 30 replied.

As it was, one of them swore at me in Chinese (and I was happy to learn a new word 滚 that I can use when I'm angry at people); a dozen or so told me they're not interested, and about half a dozen replied that they were interested, but it turned out I wasn't interested in them so I disregarded them. I did however find one contact that gave me a reasonable offer within my minimum pay expectations.

If I took on a crappy job just because they offered it, that'd be acting out of fear. But emailing to lots of companies is just searching.

When I had to shut down this business in 2008 to restructure it, because I had outgrown eBay, but not yet found Andrew, I was completely unemployed for a few months. During that time, money was very tight, and we only made it because my girlfriend had a job. I was struggling with what to do: stick to my guns and keep working on this, or start applying to work for other people?

Things got bad and I had to start applying for work. I applied to more than 50 places, and of those, 3 called me back. Of those, two gave me an interview. None hired me.

That I applied for 53 different jobs (or maybe it was 73? I can't remember.) wasn't done out of fear, it was done because I knew that the economy was down and I needed to make my odds of getting a job reasonable. If each application has an average of 1% chance for resulting in getting me hired, I'm gonna go kill a hundred applications, my friend! It's just a numbers game. Common sense says that you identify the target goal and then do what it takes to achieve that goal. It's not about fear, it's about achieving your goal.

If things hadn't picked up when I found Andrew and started working on this business again, I;d have gone out and killed another 50 or 75 or however many apps, until I got hired. It's just a numbers game. You do what it takes to get what you want.

nothing special happened until now... I'm a little bit discouraged...

maybe these last days I didn't get the maximum from because I was on vacation and I had nothing better than a mono speaker.

I now get back to the previous pace and I keep listening to the subs...

RE: I Will Get Hired (In 5G) - Fonzy3 - 07-14-2013

Wonder how the progress is going with this sub.

Thanks

Nothing happened...

That company I talked about supposed to call me this month... we passed mid-july...

don't know what to think, I'm looking for a way to build a business myself within Internet Marketing.

I know I can't rely on the today's job market and I don't want to be without occupation.

How does one survive for two years without a job - is there a welfare payment you can apply for, or can you find dumpsters behind food shops that have tossed out "date expired food" each day?

RE: I Will Get Hired (In 5G) - HMoody - 07-21-2013

I purchased a copy of the program for a family member and they have been using it since about the Middle of April. I have yet to see any results for them either on this program.

Shannon - Since the new version is 5G with OE, shouldn't we have seen some results by now as it's been nearly 3.5 months since he's started with an average listening time of at least 8 hours a day?

the second one.

However, there are major updates.

I called the company I mentioned previously asking about the "employment situation" and they answered that no new employers will be hired anytime soon. (this is due the economic crisis here)

so that road now is closed and I'm very discouraged. I'm also not motivated to looking for a job.

However, I'm working now on a my project as a internet market and I'm putting my efforts on it. I want to succed at it. I don't know this is because the sub but maybe it's my true path.

I don't know what to do with the sub, I'm thinking about stopping Find Your Perfect Job and start Overcoming Guilt, Shame and Fear.

I feel the need of erasing all my fears.

Any advice?

HMoody: It should work, yes. I'm not sure why this particular topic is so difficult to get anywhere with. Perhaps I need to add OGSF to the script.

RE: I Will Get Hired (In 5G) - HMoody - 08-03-2013

Shannon: This one does seem difficult. I had assumed that the Optimus Engine would have taken care of any Guilt, Fear, or Shame around the subject as it is supposed to work thru anything to get to it's stated goal. Is that not the case? Is that something that needs to be specifically called out to be addressed in the script? If the current version is not working then should I have him continue to run the sub or switch him to other ones instead? what subs would support finding a job and becoming financially independant?

Also, How's the redesign coming on OGSF? I know you had mentioned you were working on it so that it's not so harsh on user while possibly improving the effects.

The Optimus Engine gives instructions, but if the person is afraid of those instructions, they may resist them. It is useful to add OGSF to the Optimus Engine script in such cases, which is what I was planning to do.

I haven't looked at the new OGSF for a bit. Clearing my work queue. It'll be in there somewhere.

I see. Should I tell them to continue to use it then or switch it out for something else? If so then what would be the best for financial independance and/or Finding a Job?
