I think "a percentage off if you bought a prior version" is a good general policy.
That said, I don't get the fuss around DMSI specifically and it "not working". I used v3.5 and it worked for me. I used AM6 and it worked for me. Now I am using UMS v2 and finding it a real slog. Do I think UMS "doesn't work"? No, I think - in fact, I know - that I have more barriers around being wealthy than I have around being an alpha and being attractive.
Being sexually attractive is almost entirely a psychological state and a physical feeling. We've all heard the stories about how Marilyn Munro could "be Marilyn" and turn every head, or be normal and pass unnoticed. It's a huge challenge to create that from nothing. That's why we also have OGSF, E6, etc. etc., at our disposal.
I think when you buy a program, you are paying to go as far as Shannon can take you. That's going to mean very different results from person to person.
I think a discount is valid because you've already paid for "as far as Shannon can take you" at one time, and when you buy the updated program you are paying for the extra distance further that he can take you since the version that you bought.

As someone who has used every version and still likes to alternate sometimes, my perspective on this is that in general, an upgrade of the same subliminal should be discounted based on how much has been spent on the previous versions. Ain't nothin in life free, however.
