So After debating for quite sometime what my next sub should be, I’ve decided that I need to focus on more important goals right now than what DMSI deals with. I will eventually run DMSI but priorities are priorities.
I’ve decided to run USLM after hearing many good things.
The instructions say to pick a maximum of three goals so these are the ones I picked to focus on:
1) To land an instrumentation/electrical/controls technician job at a major refinery, chemical plant or power generation plant.
How I will do this:
-Get on board with a contractor to gain experience
-Obtain all necessary credentials including my degree and my NCCER
certification
-Sharpen my interviewing and resume/cover letter writing skills
-Take advantage of any and all opportunities presented to me
2) To build my ideal body, which is basically a swimmers body with some muscle. Basically I don’t necessarily want to be big and muscular (I.e. bodybuilder type) just lean with some muscle.
How I will do this:
-Maintain good eating habits. Minimize carbs and keep sugar out of
the equation. Stick with protein and healthy fats and plenty of
salad.
-Maintain consistency in going to the gym and optimize workouts to
achieve muscle building goals.
-Add exercises I enjoy (I love swimming)
-Use intermittent fasting where necessary.
3) Achieve financial stability, erase my debt and start saving money for my own place.
How I will do this:
-Create a budget. Buy only things I need.
-Put money away in savings every paycheck.
-Goal #1 will also support this goal.
-Start believing that having my own place is possible and act
according to that belief.
Let’s see what happens
