So for the sake of simply having a copy stored in case something happens (like my hard drive crashes and goes blank unexpectedly, which has happened before) my dad has a copy of "Let Go of Past Relationships" stored onto his PC.

He's not using it and has no intention of using it. He's just storing it for archival purposes. I'm the only one using this product and I'm the only one with any intention of using the product. We consider it mine, but also stored on his PC purely to back it up in case something happens to my hard drive again.

So I wanted to know if this goes against copyright/anti-piracy policy or if it's okay?
Well, you aren’t giving away or selling the product without permission, so I would think that it wouldn’t be a problem.
It being in his possession is out of bounds. You have the responsibility for it, as it is your property.
That's what I figure you might say. Glad I asked. Thanks Shannon. I'll have him m delete hthe a copies. Thanks again.
Hey, I just realized... he also has the emails for the product, because he's the one who bought it (as a gift)

Does he need to delete those too? And if so, would it Ben possible for him to forward the email to me before he deletes it so I can have it in my email instead?
Giving it as a gift means he has to erase all copies and access he has for himself.
OK thanks. Just making sure. I'll show him this and tell him to erase his access.
