I HIGHLY recommend "The Touch of Healing," by Alice Burmeister.
It's not about chakras per se, but it is very simple energy work that if applied will get your energy flowing throughout your body quite easily. I guarantee you will actually feel the physical change. Since your chakras are electromagnetic fields caused by energy flow, it makes sense to me to work on improving the body's energy flow.
