I don't know whether people know or heard about this. "Rome Sweet Rome" started off as a short story on reddit and I believe the short story was bought off reddit by a film company and the plan was to turn it into a movie.
It was to be a science fiction movie describing what might happen if a group of US Marines were accidently transported back to the time of the Roman Empire and end up clashing with the roman legions.

So the million dollar question is once the US Marines loose their superior fire power. That is run out ammunition. What chance have they got against the roman legions ?
