Stage 1, Day 18,
Back on track with writing, but only managed to write 1200 words.
Still have a long ways to write; I've written 23 points with 38 points remaining; I'll probably finish these points in 10 days, but there's more to write.
Writing much less than for my last book; there's a lot more inner back and forth in the ideas being exchanged. I do feel like I'm spending equal amounts of time and effort as for the last book.
Stage 1, Day 20,
I've gotten to 27.3 K words; slow progress. Would like to make big progress over the weekend.
I feel as though drafts #3, 4, 5 are going to be finished very quickly, given that I'm editing as I go along, and I've gotten the gist of what I want to say.
I've been getting a lot of compliments about my appearance at work; lots of 'handsome', even got termed 'eye candy'. It's all in good fun.
Stage 1, Day 22,
I've only managed to reach 30.8 K words in 2 days. Oh well, not too bad.
The P-tech should have worn off by now.
I bought 500 bucks worth of clothes today lol. It blew out most of the spending-money portion of my budget for the month, which means that I'll be chewing into the savings part of my budget (which is honestly twice the size of the spending-money portion); I'll be okay lol. But I'm starting to realize the limitations of my current budget (not enough). Will be working to earn more through online businesses after my books are all published.
Stage 1, Day 24,
I've hit 35.1 K words. I've completed a list of about 40 fallacies, and after 17 days, I've got about 20 fallacies left. I'll have a few extra chapters left to writer after the fact, so I'm not sure what the ETA is for this book.
Stage 1, Day 25,
I've added 1000 words to draft #1. I'm at 36.1K. I did 1000 words yesterday.
I've only gotten rid of one of 20 remaining fallacies left to write.
Stage 1, Day 26,
Added 1444 words, putting me at 37.6 K.
I'm moving through these fallacies pretty quickly. I presume that I'll be done at 50-55 K words.
Stage 1, Day 27,
Added about 850 (now 1005) words. Will work on adding more, but my day has been busy.
Running out of sleeping time.
Stage 1, Day 28,
Added a little over 1060 words; at 39.7 K words.
Stage 1, Day 29,
Added about 4,948 words to my total for a total of 44,850 words, and basically finished my list of fallacies; there is another list of fallacies from my first book that I will eventually combine.
Ultimately, I have to add a chapter on traditional fallacies and rhetorical terms, another chapter on essays relating to humor, power, and other dynamics found in conversation. Last, there are philosophical questions to bring forward beyond the context of this book.
Exciting; to finish the first draft of my last book is extremely exciting.
Stage 1, Day 30,
I'm feeling a burning fire inside; it's been building up for the past few days, and I know that it's a genuine desire to improve my life.
I put in 2576 words today, reaching a total of 47,423 words. I'm reaching the end of the last part of the last chapter. I still need to write a conclusion, and then add a chapter that is research-heavy, so I'll build a skeleton, but then start my reading list to be able to speak intelligently about it.
Draft #1 is almost done!
If I can, I am just curious about what is the positive influence of AM6 has on your books writing?
Would a subliminal program to boost productivity or stimulating creativity be a better fit for completing the writing achievement that you appear to have set for yourself?
That being said, I'm really impressed at the speed that you are writing! Keep going!
Stage 1, Day 31,
Well, in terms of actually getting the book written, I started this program 31 days ago, and started writing this book 24 days ago. I was dreading the notion of starting book #3 until I started this subliminal, and then suddenly I wanted to make little contributions, then it was an outline, then I told myself I would write the conclusion and see how it went. Ultimately, I'm writing the book, and I'm making great progress.
I must say that my most motivated and disciplined has been while listening to Alpha Male. It beats even BASE in terms of how motivated I feel; BASE seems to have the outcome of increasing my income, though.
EDIT: added 598 words to the pot, making just over 48K words. I'm probably 90+% done draft #1.
Was busy learning how to ride a horse for the first time. It was very nice.
Then got my back cracked by my chiropractor.
Older women (around middle-age) are flirting with me a lot more. What the heck!
Stage 1, Day 32 (began Stage 2)
Nothing major to report. Added a little over 1050 words to Draft #1.
I have two major sections remaining; each will probably be about 1000 words.
Will aim for a little extra today.
I'm going to be starting the 100 Day Challenge around September 22nd (100 days until December 31st). This will motivate me to finish book #3 as soon as possible, and possibly get all three books cleaned up into a single book before then. Exciting.
Stage 2, Day 2,
Today, I had the "oh shit, I'm writing a book" moment; it's not as intense as my other moments, and it took longer than usual. But this might be because today was the first time I missed a usual gym commitment to stick to writing.
I wrote about 2000 words, reaching 52477 words. I'm just about >97% done.
