I need some clarification here from people in the know

Shannon says this
"The hybrid is significantly more powerful, 100% to 300% from what I have seen. It may not be overtly obvious from standard listening, but I see the difference quite readily whenever I am using MIR and have to go from Hybrid to Ultrasonic track."

In his discussion Journal Vol 2 dated 03/4/2017

Would that mean hybrid is more effective compared to US?

Wanting to know as I've been running US this entire time
It is more powerful but not necessarily more effective.

It can kick in more resistance, and I personally need to listen to it lower than US or masked or else ringing in my ears becomes insane, but you need to try all three to see which helps you best.

I'd say try one of each for a week or two and see how you feel. You won't know exactly, as you'll be in different stages of processing it obviously due to exposure differences, but if one kicks in major resistance you know how you work best with them.

That being said I prefer to just power through and go hybrid. I'd rather have a month of heavy resistance than two months of normal resistance.

Agreed, resistance is a good sign. It means progress is being made or on the verge of being made. Aright I'll switch to hybrid now. Thanks
This was brought up last week. Shannon mentioned that it depends on the person. He gave more detail, but essentially either format works differently for everyone. Play one, see how it works for you, and then try the other. I usually get a feeling of being sucked into the reality of a subliminal, so, if that resonates with you, see which one produces that effect more so than the other. Sometimes they can be situational. I prefer the ultrasonic during the day so that I can wear my headphones, listen to ultrasonic, and still hear what is going on around me. Or perhaps you prefer to run the hybrid track in the background over stereo speakers.
I am echoing Nox to add concrete to what he is saying. The hybrid is significantly more powerful yes however someone like me for example. Whose parents set high expectations and demanded that I get into the best universities, get the best job and qualifications. That kind of pressure made me angry. The hybrid would be like demanding parents. So I would endup rejecting the scripts and suffering mentally. Hence me not using the hybrids.

Brother, I was tiger parented too and I used to hate it (look up tiger parenting, it'll help you understand yourself more) but now I relish it. It gives me an insatiable desire to succeed.

Anger is the emotion that we feel when our boundaries have been violated. It comes up to help restore said boundary. Emotional intelligence is the ability to work with our emotions and communicate the messages they send us.

I'll be working with the sub. I know what I want to achieve which is mainly h/c. If the sub is being too pushy I'll tone it down. If it's just me being a bitch or trying to run away then I'll stick with it. Intuition is the key here. I personally prefer more powerful, make the change happen faster. I also have the luxury of not going back to med school until next year so I have time on my hands to allow full focus on h/c. I can imagine if someone was juggling a career while in the pits of h/c it'd be difficult.

Truly, the resistance we feel are the internal frameworks we have that keep us trapped in our current state. I'd rather just get through it and make all the break throughs that I'd like to have happen.

Hybrid flac all the way!
Bro I had never heard of that term "tiger parenting" which I had a heavy dose of all my life, thanks for the clarification. Academically it helped me, however in terms of intimacy and dating it never helped, as I felt I was pigeonholed into doing well academically and getting into a good profession but nothing else. Tiger parenting also emphasised obligation to your family which resulted in me sacrificing alot of my life for them.

Thankfully I am putting alot of that stuff behind me as I have grown to realize that I don't have alot of time on this planet to do the things I want to do.

More power to you brother, you're very welcome.

That's one of the models built into that paradigm "serve the family". You're only loyal to yourself.

Youre absolutely right, it does bupkis for dating and socialising. In fact one of the other members here, whether he realises it or not, due to tiger parenting he has placed his entire self worth on how well he does careeerwise which is ludicrous.

I was so fortunate to have huge rebellion when I was 17, to really shift some of those values but now I'm older and more mature I am thankful for certain parts of the paradigm.

The task now is really to use what works and discard that which doesn't.

I really wish I had done the deal at 17 years old rather much much later in life. Having said that can't turn back the clock. Just got to do what has to be done now.
And do better with your own children.
Determined,

To refocus on your original question, I used E2 on US for 2 months. I had very little gain from it. I changed to the masked version, and I began feeling it. I absolutely did.

I had checked out the validity of US and was very sold on it, but the truth is I am an auditory learner. I have always been a musician (practicing or not). I am deeply moved by music and held by it, so when I turn it on, I plan on a mental and emotional redirection to occur. I also greatly enjoy audio teachings, and I'm fed by them.

I have never read scientific validation for the effects, but it works for me. I even chose audio lessons when I signed up for online classes years ago. The effect: my stress level was way down.

So, it's something to consider in your original posting.
