Just calibrate the masked format as you normally would using headphones. At a comfortable level, where you can at least faintly hear the lowest points in the ocean surf track.

For the hybrid, if that is too loud on the ultrasonic, lower it until it's not.

I wanted to say -80db to -90db, those figures stood out to me.

And thank you Shannon, due to that post, I know -55 to -60 is more than beefy enough to work for masked. I'll adjust the volume to that now on the masked end.
