Subliminal Talk

I'm thinking about sending back my sleepphones for a smaller pair, while I still can. I own a JBL Charge 2 which has been next to my bed for a few months now, which I until recently had used to sleep to rain sounds to. Do you think this will be suitable for sublims while I wait for my new sleepphones to arrive, or does the very design of it not lend itself well to such things?
