I realize that the BWE products all state that they are designed to be utilized with headphones.

I was curious as to what type of effect one of them would have on you if you listened to it through traditional speakers instead of headphones. My wife and I were considering trying the alcohol stimulant and listening to it together. I was not sure, however, if listening to it via the speakers I have connected to my computer would degrade the effects or completely neutralize them.

Anybody have any knowledge on this that they can pass my way?

If you use it with speakers, it will disrupt the stereo coherence and dramatically lessen or even negate the effectiveness of the entrainment. Basically what this program does is it entrains your brain to the same brainwave state that you typically experience while drunk. But you need perfect stereo separation to achieve that result, thus headphones.
