I got these speakers Logitech LS21 2.1 Stereo Speaker System http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-LS21-St...h+speakers

I noticed that they stop playing sound at certain points in time, I would fall asleep and wake up in the morning to find that it isn't out putting the subs, I then play something else and the light flashes and it plays. I have no idea how long is is going on for and Ive been using these for almost a year now.

Can anyone recommend some cost effective speakers that work better and thru out the night?

I have a Speakerset from Creative that acted in the same way you describe, sometimes shutting off and other times playing just fine. I was also about to exchange mine until I read the manual more closely. Mine has a powersaving (auto-off) function that turns the system off if it "feels" it isn't getting enough input power through the 3,5mm jack. I found that when I played through my Ipod at low volume and speakers at high it would shut off after an hour or so, but now - when I always set the input device at 90% volume and adjust the speakersystem volume instead, it doesn't shut itself off anymore. Might be worth looking at.
I'll give it a try tonight. High Input, low output, got it.
No its not working. Any other suggestions?
