Great necropost. The Magnus Engine makes things better than they are without it.
So is the Magnus engine replacing the optimus engine? and is DMSI 3.2 going to be the first sub to use the magnus engine?
this thread is from 2014. Surely the magnus engine would have been added in that time frame to some subs?

Because it is still in prototype testing and development. I am going to be adding it to a production program soon, and it should be in DMSI 3.2. It is a very complex piece of technology, and as such, required more than two years to develop. As it stands, the production version will actually be a significant upgrade from the prototype because it will solve an issue that I encountered. I don't take it lightly when I develop this really complicated stuff.
