So instead of it usually being "she's out of my league", it's now flipped over to "he's out of my league".

These two programs have scripts that are so involved and complex that they will interfere with one another. Don't use them together.

Exactly right. Nobody likes to be rejected, so a person will tend to resist attentions or interest from someone they see as being a "flight risk". If I am an 8.5 out of 10, and I start hitting on a 4, she is very likely going to think I am teasing her because she perceives me as being so much more attractive to other women than she is to other men. She starts thinking, "Some hot woman is gonna come along and he's going to leave me, and that's going to hurt... I don't want to get hurt, so I'll just nip this in the bud."
That's why you see couples who look the most alike making it the longest in most cases. All the women I have dated for long periods of time were at or very close to my own level of attractiveness. Usually, it happens in a -1, 0, +1 range if you use the 1 to 10 scale. An 8 will date a 7, 8 or 9 most of the time; a 5 will date a 4, 5 or 6, etc. Just a matter of self preservation, if they're not just looking to score.
To bad I loved those 1's and 2's, now there out of my league. LOL
