What is resistance? Your fear of change. You want to go to X but your body wants you to stay where you are.

How does it feel? At least for me, and for many people I know, it feels like a huge tightness in the body. If you feel the same way, this post is for you. Below, I've compiled a few things you can do to overcome or maybe even eliminate resistance completely.

Note: I'm simply listing tools that have helped me. It may or may not work for you. But if you're feeling any resistance, just give it a shot and see how it works. All tools are free and take very little time to use.

Overcoming resistance in body:

Tool 1: Tibetan Rites
One of the quickest ways to lose weight, let go of tightness in body, and even promote vitality is doing 5 Tibetan rites. There's a famous book about this yogic practice, but for now, simply do them daily and see how it feels. Do them every day in the morning.

Here's another video on the same practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJElLrpBetc

Tool 2: EFT Videos on Resistance
Here are a couple of videos that I use to overcome resistance in general :

Tool 3: Yoga.
As funny as it may sound, yoga can clear resistance in almost 1 session. It's important you do it right, though. If you've never done it before, here are 2 videos I use. She's a great teacher and goes very slow. There was a time when I used to do the first video every day.

The whole practice can be completed in 20 minutes. Once you get used to that, a bit, then do this video that's specially for depression :

Tool 4: Imagination

Put your head down, and imagine a door at your heart center. Imagine it opening up and letting out all negativity. Imagine a black smoke rising out of your chest clearing out all resistance. The more you do this, the better it gets.

Tool 5: Release Technique

This is a video of Larry Crane showing you how to get rid of resistance by releasing. See if it works for you. Works for me 100% of the times.

Tool 6: Solfeggio Frequencies
Just research more about them on the web first. Then search for them on YouTube. There are a lot of videos that offer free solfeggio frequencies. Use the ones that help u feel more free. For me 528 HZ instantly loosens up my body in about 10-15 mins.

Tool 7: Whole Body Tapping.
As weird as it sounds, this one actually helps getting rid of resistance in the body. It's like EFT on steroids Tongue

So, that's it. The aforementioned free tools are some of the things I use whenever I feel resistance. Don't expect big miracles. But you'll surely feel a lot of improvement because no matter which of these tools you use, you'll get rid of at least some resistance.

Note: I'll add more tools to this list as I go along. For the benefit of everyone I only want to include free and easily accessible stuff in this video. If you have any similar tools and practices, feel free to reply to this thread. Please don't add listings to paid products or your own courses.
Thanks this is great.
I can't agree with you more on the release technique, it has changed my life. I find it more effective than other modalities due to the taking it to core feelings (wanting approval, control, security). In fact I highly recommend people purchase the Abundance Course to check it out. The only problem I find, is if I'm highly resistant about something, then I just procrastinate from releasing! That's where subs are great, because you just have to put them on, you don't have to consciously do anything.

But the combo is powerful.
@robstar : I allow myself to effortlessly release every single day. <--- Release on that

I'm not sure I'd take that advice. Your phraseology is not specific enough, and could result in problems... like effortlessly releasing during sex when that wasn't the kind of release or time you wanted to be releasing! The subconscious is literal, remember that, and it may not understand things the way your conscious mind does. Be unquestionably specific.
@Shannon The "Release" here means using the release technique. So, by releasing on the phrase, you only take out the limiting beliefs or resistance that stops you from releasing. But, I see your point. Some other unwanted releases might happen.

I'd say:

I allow myself to practice the release technique every day
