hey guys does the lower end matter? as most of the headphones/earphones i have seen in stores have freqs from min 12hz-23 khz onwards.

Low end isn't very important. It's the high end that matters. Low end shows how much the manufacturer is cheaping out as much as the high end, though. It should be 20 Hz-20 kHz
