(09-20-2010, 08:32 PM)Jackie Wrote: [ -> ]Just to update, I have been listening to the metabolism sub/energy booster each night four about 8-9 hours.

I am noticing 2 things that are becoming more frequent since using this particular sub. I am gradually having more energy through out the day than I ever normally do, and as a result am wanting to exercise more. I went back to read the script, and it does say to be active more and more, and have physical activity everyday. This definitely seems to be more of the case. I am finding myself much more motivated to work out and more excited to do so- today went on a 3 mile power walk. This is quite the shift in my energy level.

So, whether the sub itself causes weight loss directly, or if it merely helps motivate me and give me more energy to work out, either one is fine with me.

Another thing, I can never usually get by with out coffee, well, I believe I can actually get through a day with out it...if I choose to. But, I still like to drink coffee because I really just like the flavor, but "wanting" is different than feeling like I "need" it. I don't feel as dependent on coffee as of late either.

Am excited to see more of how this plays out in the weeks to come!

I bet you'll sleep better if you ditch the coffee Wink
Jackie,

The sub you're using isn't intended to directly cause weight loss, but to be an assist in that capacity if so desired. Also, pay attention to a pattern I am seeing more and more: people don't follow the directions, and don't get the results they want.

Firstly, everyone seems to want to use too many subs at once. One at a time is optimal, and by that I mean, please only use one at a time! Just because I am experimenting with a ridiculous number, and it's possible to use more at once does not mean you get an optimal result that way. I am really not getting the results from alpha this time that I did before. Or from Woman magnet, what I designed for it to do.

Second, when you use a sub, use it to completion. At LEAST 32 days for Type B subs. Don't switch subs in the middle of the race, because as Jay has noticed, they have different scripts that do different things. The self confidence portion of Alpha starts in Stage 2. Great way to de-rail yourself. So please follow the directions.

Also, I am in agreement with Andrew - coffee isn't great for sleepy time or any time if you want to sleep. You have a slower metabolism with a high speed mind, and the high speed mind is probably being affected by a tendency for your body to burn caffeine slower than you might realize. Better to drink decaf if you "like the way it tastes". Wink

Finally, with such a high speed mind, and your particular energy type, a warm bath with lavender and/or chamomile (and chamomile tea, too) half an hour before bed will do you wonders. The ocean surf track should also help you sleep better. You may also find the sleep shuttle in Sleep Magic very helpful.

Don't do anything to fire up your mind - you have one of those dual core processors up stairs, and it's really hard to throttle those things down. Smile
Thanks Shannon! Yea, baths do help a lot- something I am getting back into doing.

So far, yes I am only using the metab. sub alongside trying some BWE's, which I will post about on another thread. I have been so tried the last couple of nights that I actually forgot to turn on the subs! And the nights I forgot, I definitely noticed a difference in my motivation level to work out the next day. Like, it went down, or I was more willing to make excuses not to go on a walk or use the bike trainer.

I have lost 2 pounds so far though since starting the sub, so that's pretty cool.

More to follow in the weeks ahead!

If you're forgetting to turn on the subs, try playing them 24/7 on speakers in your bedroom. Then you can't forget. Smile You'll likely see yourself loose more weight as you continue to use it, if the subliminal is causing it. Two pounds isn't enough to be very certain yet.
Hi all!

Haven't posted in awhile, so thought I'd give an update on this sub.

Well, it's been about a month that I've been using it, and I've lost 3 pounds! Keep in mind, this is with walking several times a week too, but I was doing that before and not losing anything. I was also using a bike trainer, but haven't in a few weeks because I need to fix it. So, really, exercise, other than walking, has been pretty minimal to explain the weight loss, so it's really cool to see that I've actually lost any weight at all!!Big Grin

Anyway, still have aways to go, but I found this encouraging and exciting!Smile I remember reading somewhere that losing a pound a week was good, and that's what I've lost in the last week. A personal trainer I used to have told me to pull out a pair of pants that I wanted to fit into rather than standing on the scale, and that was great advice. I'm not a big person to being with, but small enough that 3 pounds shows! We'll see if another pound is dropped by next week!
Oh, and this should sweeten the pot a little more. My boyfriend, who has been gone the whole month while I started using this sub, is now back and will be joining in on this sub as well! So, I'll also keep track of his results on here as well, although he'll be about a month behind, but it should still be interesting to see what experiences he has with it too. Smile Darn, that means I have to share stuff with him now-lol j/k.
lol Funny Jackie.
Well, another half pound this week has been shed Smile

I think I've gone about as far as I want with this particular sub, because I initially wanted to try it for energy and weight loss, and I've experienced both and am happy with the results. But, because my boyfriend has to be the victim to whatever sub I'm playing, I asked him what program he'd like, and he has chosen weight loss. So, even though one sub at a time is usually what we recommend, I'm going to try both Increase metabolism with weight loss, probably in the next week.

Haven't written in awhile about this sub. I've stopped using it. I do think it helped me lose about 5 pounds though, but then I went out of town for a week and forgot my subs, so I decided I was happy enough with the results that I could end this journal and start another program. I would recommend it to others, but I think it might best be used together with the weight loss program.

I've pretty much decided that since my boyfriend has to listen to these too, that he has some say in the matter. So, as soon as we're set up at our new place (cause we're moving), I'm planning on using the self confidence sub and will probably start a journal on that soon.

Hey Jackie, ya left me hangen' here lol. As a newcomer, I've been browsing around the forum to read about people's experiences with these programs. I'm not really interested persay in which programs they are using as much as how it's been working for them. But I too have been using the confidence sub and was wondering if you've been using it and if it's been working for you.
My feeling is that some people are very confident and some are lower but most fall somewhere in the middle, like myself. Also, basically my whole family has the benefit of listening to these so it's been interesting to see some changes with them. It's been a very short time using it and I've been a little scattered (stopping, starting, mixings subs....no more than 2 though) using them and am trying very hard to settle in one 1 or 2 for a longer length of time. It's a struggle for me lol but I'm gonna make myself do it! Please let me know how you're making out.

Thanks,
Patti

Hi Patti!

Yes, I still need to start the confidence sub! Thanks for reminding me. I agree with you, I think most people fall in the middle. For me, some days are better than others. It would be nice to feel more consistently confident though day to day in every situation, and I hope this sub can help. Sounds like you're noticing some results already, so that's encouraging to me! I just need to go out and buy some new blank cd's, which is what I like to do- burn them on a cd and listen to them on my cd player all night. I'll start it soon though! Thanks for the inspiration.

Jackie

Well good luck with that! I'm actually now running a big test in my home for one of the subs. I don't wanna get into which one now for various reasons but I will say that resistance runs my life lo.l I notice it alot with this one even more probably because I'm not just using it to change the way we think but more the change an action. I've only been playing it for a couple of days and have already had that feeling like I should just bag it because it's not working. One of the reason's I love love love this forum is because I've learned from others some reasons why I have all that resistance. It doesn't make it go away, but helps me to understand what I'm feeling so I can continue to forge through.

Hiya Patti!

I understand not wanting to share some of the subs...some of them are extremely personal. We're just happy that you and others feel comfortable to share at all! The more feedback the better. The whole resistance issue is defintely interesting. Everyone's a bit different. Just keep in mind that pushin your comfort level is normal with these programs, but there's also a balance. If it gets to the point of being too distressing for you or your family, then by all means please discontinue. Everyone reacts differently, and some seem to have more resistance than others, so it's kind of trial and error. Just be sure to give it enough time to work too. I'll admit that I'm a little afraid of what might come up for me using the confidence sub. I think a lot of that has to do with being comfortable with routine...any kind of change is both exciting and also scary for a lot of people. Myself included, even though that change is really necessary. My plan is start it tonight though. Thanks for sharing your experiences thus far! Looking forward to reading more.

Hey Jackie,

The reason for not naming this sub isn't b/c of personal reasons, my life is an open book. It's more b/c if it didn't work I would never want anyone not to try it for themselves. I rely on testimonials from others (maybe too much) and I think there's other's out like myself. If it does work, I will be singing it's praise's for sure!

I don't have too many programs yet but the ASC sub seems to be my go to sub of choice. Even though there has been some slight edginess sometimes or uncomfortable feelings, the positives that have happened are almost instantaneous! And I've noticed good things throughout my family. I am using this now along with my other program because even though negative emotions may be released by default with it, I find it a much more positive sub. To me, using a more positive sub combined with one going more directly to releasing negative feelings or actions, feels like releasing negativity in a positive way, or something like that lol.

I play these programs continuously throughout my home. My youngest son will turn 18 next week so there are 6 adults benefiting from them. The edginess that can come out of listening to these programs though can turn my home into a battlefield lol which can happen with or without subs! Friday night we had a not so good incident happen with two of my kids. I didn’t wanna have 3 kids bc I didn’t want one with middle child syndrome, so I had 4 and have 2 with middle child syndrome lol. That plan didn't work so well! And this is about those two kids. Anyway, (and this is the way these subs seem to work for me) after Friday’s debacle, Saturday I took them both into my "mom cave" lol and was able to talk to them peacefully. My son (19) for the very first time ever, took ownership for his mistake which is HUGE! I'm not sure which sub helped and I don't care! All I can say is thanks and I'm hoping to see more positive changes from us all.

I don’t think anyone should fear the confidence sub, the benefits greatly outweigh the uncomfortable feelings. How’s things going on your end?
