Guys,

Its been 24 days into stage 1 of AMS 5.0. Listening to the subliminal between 7 to 10 hours a day.

Question is I havent felt any changes apart from one where I no longer feel the urge to masturbate or watch porn. This is rather confusing whats more is I have been feeling down this week its like my old self has come back again to haunt me. I have been rather touchy all week with co workers hurling sarcastic comments at me occasionally which I have been taking personally.

I thought stage 1 removes negativity but things just seem to be worse. Does anyone know why ?

Thanks
I'm not noticing much on AM6 stage 1 (Apart from gym motivation) either and I didnt notice anything at all on am5 stage 1 as well.

It's usually cause of the fact that stage 1 isn't trying to make any big changes. It's just very subtle under the radar type stuff. In stage 2 you should notice changes. I did with AM5 (even though I didn't get a great deal out of it due to resistance)

Don't worry thor most people don't notice much with stage 1.

It's my belief that usually the pain will hurt pretty bad before it leaves you. The sub is bringing up stuff you have kept inside and is making you aware of it before it releases it. That's why you might be pretty touchy. Just keep getting as much exposure as possible. I actually feel good when I listen to it.
Thanks for the reply AlphaScorpio in 7 days time I am looking foreward to stage 2 as you said I will try and get as much exposure as possible in the next few days.
You guys are funny. "I'm not really noticing anything from AM other than something really profound." i.e. porn, gym, etc or some other major habit change.
It doesn't necessarily have to hurt before it leaves you, but most people don't have an easy time clearing out the crud they must remove before they achieve the goal. The program isn't about feeling good, it's about getting the job done. That's why some people liken it to boot camp at points. It can be very challenging, depending on what you need to change to become healthy.

Stage 1 is about clearing a foundation, and it's going to be that your response isn't necessarily going to be obvious on the outside. Go back and read the directions again; I talk about this in them. But your responses are showing that you are getting results. It is making changes, and the process of change isn't always going to be fun or easy. But as anyone of us who has "graduated" can tell you, it's most assuredly worth the effort. Stick to it.

lol that is true

they are subtle though compared to stage 2/3 when there are definitely more profound changes.
Alpha,

What changes did you see in stage 2

Thanks
In the same boat with stage 1 - but if the changes are subtle/foundation clearing, I can understand that and accept it as part of the process. Just a few more days until stage 2... cannot wait!!
Coldfact I begin stage 2 today will keep you posted likewise look foreward to hearing from you on your progress.
Does anyone know what the purpose of stage 2 is ? I cannot see an explanation in the AMS 5.0 instructions.
Quote: That's not very easy to answer for two reasons. First, each year I try to make as many improvements as possible, and second, the script is so huge and complex. That' why there are six stages.

Most people respond to Stage 1 with a fairly polar response. Either they don't notice anything, or they notice they are really growing in self confidence and a few even start reporting impatience with the people around them playing mind games and trying to manipulate them. Stage 1 is clearing out the negative self image BS and laying a solid foundation for the rest of the program. Stage 1 specifically prepares you for Stage 2.

Stage 2 is not as polar usually, but some people still don't see enough to notice a difference. Most people begin noticing this stage and this is where most people start showing the self confidence, desire to stand up and do one's own thing, and the irritation with the BS of others really starts manifesting here. Stage 2 is designed to get you up to speed and ready for Stage 3.

Stage 3 is aimed at bringing out the Big Guns. This is where you'll be ready to get serious about becoming an alpha, but it also aims to balance and temper the previous stages. Thus while there may be irritation with the BS of others, your response will tend to be more refined and less crude. Big Guns means this is where the core of the Alpha/Dominant programming really takes focus. Stage 3 is where most of the most important and obvious work is going on because it is here you are learning to accept an internalize the Alpha core you couldn't have handled dealing with previous to using Stages 1 and 2. It also prepares you for Stage 4.

Stage 4 is a combination of extension of Stage 3's teachings and concepts, and a refresher for Stages 1 and 2. It also refines the Alpha/Dominant social response and makes you more self sufficient and less likely to feel the need to prove anything to anyone. Self reliance. It also prepares for Stage 5.

Stage 5 is a further extension of some of the concepts introduced in Stage 3 and Stage 4, and further polishes the attitude, aiming for a sort of cool "James Bond" effect. The primary goal of this stage is to polish and refine what all the previous stages have been introducing and building.

Stage 6 is a "finalizer". It is like the varnish coat. The "final polish and sealant", designed to put a high gloss on everything that has been built so far and make it as long term and permanent as possible. It also acts as a stabilizer, balancer and refresher for Stages 1 through 5.
That explanation come out in 2010, posted in a thread Deciphering Alpha Male Stages.
