I tried a subliminal from another company that was masked with the sound of falling rain. It made me realize that the associations I have with the surf make me want to protect myself (and sorry, trickling water just makes me want to pee), whereas the soothing sound of falling rain feels life-affirming and safe Perhaps because I'm a city girl, envisioning being outside is much more stressful than the image of being safe and warm inside on a rainy night. In short, the rain put me in a much more receptive and relaxed state of mind, which seemed to be very compatible with subliminal messaging.

Is there any particular reason ocean waves is superior for subliminal masking, or might it be possible in the future to offer a falling rain mask?
One idea could be using ultrasonic with your own soothing music. Just saying.
Is it ok to do that? I wasn't sure if I'd be interfering or blocking out the sub. My own music would actually be the best. Thanks.
You can't block the ultrasonic sub, unless you are living next to a really loud (imagine disco-loud) place.

On that point, you should NOT use ultrasonic on the headphones.
