Subliminal Talk

Hello,

For me the speaker test does not sound as described, even though I tried 5 different pairs of headphones&speakers, all of which should have the upper frequency response of 20 kHz. I also played it from different sources: laptop, phone, desktop.

From the beginning, besides the expected "crescendo", I hear like a regular pulsating sound (almost 4 times / second) and around second 23 some "crickets" enter the background.

Shannon, would you mind checking it out?

I have all reasons to believe that the ultrasonic subliminals do work just great for me - ASC was delicious, and AM6 has some appealing effects already (I'll only post in the journal section once at the end of every stage).

What you describe is awareness of an interference pattern (the 4 hz pulsing) and then the ability to consciously hear the ultrasonic. It sounds like you have unusual hearing ability or auditory canal construction. You're fine.

Cool. Truth is I consciously hear the ultrasonic at 33% volume on my iPhone's headphones with eyes open, and at 25% if I close my eyes and tune in for a few seconds. I actually asked somebody to turn the ultrasonic on and off without looking, and I'd tell them precisely what they would do.

So I'm a weirdo . Yeey!
