Fresh, I used a stereo without headphones for the first four stages of Alpha Male and got plenty of effect from it. If you can put speakers on either side of your bed, it would be better, but just playing the subliminal so you can hear it while you sleep is going to work.

OK, in the case of Ultrasonic, you're not going to know that you can hear it, but you know what I mean. Smile
Perfect stereo separation is always going to be the best option, and impossible to do for most people for 8+ hours a day because it requires that the right ear hear only what's on the right channel and the left ear hear only what's on the left channel. This combined with the stereo-spatial audio effects is what forces the brain to kick into hemispheric synchronization in order to process the incoming data. To get this effect to kick in fully, you need headphones.

That's not to say you're not going to get great results through speakers, which at best can give you a high degree of stereophonic separation if you have them placed on either side of your head. But speakers will always project sound such that both ears are picking up both channels, to at least some degree.

If this were not the case, I would not suggest that people use speakers.

But... headphone will always give a better effect than speakers.
Thank you for the response Shannon and Sean,

I find it hard to directly have my speakers on either side of my head meaning having them facing exactly towards my ears.

Is that necessary or as long as they are close by head on both sides I will still hear it properly.

Try to imagine this setup i have:

My pillow has my speakers in front of it
One on my right one on my left
My head is placed in the middle of my pillow but the speakers themselves are positioned just pass my ears but still within inches from my ears since I cant actually have them on my pillow while I sleep so i basically use my pillow to hold the speakers in place

Let me know if this setup is crazy and if there is a better way to get it done

Thanks Again
Most people find it difficult to have speakers on opposite sides of their head. You'll get good results from speakers period, and the more they oppose each other the better. Just do the best you can with it. You'll be fine.
