I've been using OF for a little over two months now and figured I'd start a journal both to track progress and see if Shannon recommends adjustments to my listening schedule.
Currently on the special use case pattern:
2 days on, 4 days off
4 loops
Masked 7/15 on Android (US gives me earaches even at low volumes)
I chose the special use case because I am quite a bit overweight, which I sense is due to underlying emotional issues. I've also had a hard time getting concrete results with subliminals in the past, and am worried less listening time would hurt results. Otherwise, I don't have any of the other indicators listed on the sales page.
The first time I used the program while I was going to sleep I got an intense feeling of anxiety so strong it literally felt like my stomach cramped and my heartbeat accelerated. After the first night, things got better, but for the first 3 weeks or so I would wake up from OF usage pretty substantially drained.
Now, 2 months in, I can use OF without obvious difficulty, although I'm still a little more tired the morning after using than on a normal morning. However, I'm having a hard time tracking improvements that I can pin to the program. I can't necessarily point to any specific fear that has dissipated, and when I think about things that tend to give me anxiety such as approaching women, stepping into situations I'm unfamiliar with, etc I still feel that fear present. The anxious body language that I've observed in myself while going out and about my day has also persisted.
I'm wondering if this is just a question of giving it more time and continuing for the full seven month run, or if I need to make adjustments to the way I listen in order to get more results. I'm also open to the possibility the initial results have been subtle enough that without very careful introspection, they wouldn't be immediately obvious.
