So I just was taking a leak. I had placed my phone against something on the shelf above my toilet so I could listen to a Youtube video. It fell into the toilette bowl while I was peeing. I dried it off and the volume still worked. But then I put hand sanitizer on it to sanitize it, cause it had fallen into my toilet bowl. The sound stopped working. I turned the power off and gave it a little bit to dry out or whatever. I have just now turned it back on. At first I was hearing nothing, which had me worried, but then I hear "Hello Moto" which is a good sign.
EDIT: I just started watching Youtube. It is not working. No sound. I wonder what's wrong?
This has me worried, because I use my phone for subliminals, among other obvious reasons.
If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I am very worried!

It should be noted that it was only after using sanitizer that it got ruined. STUPID of me.
The bottom speaker seems to be working, which is why I hear "Hello Moto" when I turn the phone on.
I will see if I can do the vacuum+sock thing. I would need tape though...
Right now, I have the phone (speakers facing towards it) up against the part of an air purifier in my room where the air blows outward. I hope this works.
Just tested the power jack, though maybe I shouldn't have. The power jack doesn't seem to work either atm.
I am just now learning hand sanitizer evaporates quickly and the damage may have been done when it was in gel form. Does this mean my phone is fucked permanently? God I hope not.

Shannon If my phone is permanently ruined, will this undo all the progress I've made? If it takes a while to fix or replace my phone, will that completely ruin the effects of the sub? Will I have to start over again?
Get a UV phone sanitizer. One brand name is "Phone Soap". Cheaper versions can be found on Amazon.

I'ma focus on how this all works out for me somehow. that attitude shall be helpful. I can still listen to the sub if I download it onto my PC.

Yeah I would, but thankfully, it hasn't come to that! I've had it in rice for a bit, and I just got back from the gym and tested it. IT WORKS!!! I put it back in the rice though, cause leaving it overnight can help it further. Can't hurt. I already have a playlist of the sub on my PC in my room, sio I'll just play that while I sleep!

Remember that water evaporates faster as it gets warmer. Keep it buried in rice and try to keep it at 80F or higher but not over 95F.

This has been a concern of mine every time I've had my phone in hand in the restroom since I've started using subs. I used to always wonder if my subconscious was going to try to pull something sneaky. I've gotten to where I just put in on the bathroom counter until I'm done.
