You have to remember that putting the speakers right on your ears (headphones) or in your ears (earbuds) means the relative volume is much higher. Itching and such is a sign that your subconscious is extremely uncomfortable and trying to communicate that fact. You can work yourself past that reaction, but headphone volume is not like speaker volume. What would be too quiet on a speaker is reasonable or even sometimes too loud using headphones or earbuds, and vice versa.
I suggest that you not use headphones or earbuds at all while you try to sleep. Wires can wake you up, get tangled, and pull the headphone plug out of the jack. Bluetooth wireless has he potential issue that it may or may not use compression that strips out the subliminal audio.
If you want to try hybrid, it would seem to be best to use your phone speaker. Keep in mind that hybrid is twice as much subliminal input as either of the other two formats, and therefore twice as intense. It was obviously more than you could handle at that volume.

The way I've been able to get around the wire issue is to have a 5-6ft extension cable that plugs directly into my phone which sits on the night stand next to my bed. I Then plug my earbuds into that extension cable.
Once it's all hooked up, I leave plenty of slack at my phone to prevent me from jerking the cable loose or pulling my phone off the stand. At the other end, I place part of the cable under my pillow to prevent me from getting tangled up in it then pull enough slack out from under my pillow (~ 12in) and leave it right where the pillow meets the bed to prevent me from yanking the earbuds out of my ear. I also use the sport-type wrap around earbuds to help keep them in place.
i don't keep my earbuds seated in my ear canals. They tend to become dislodged while sleeping anyway, so I let them rest outside the canals and calibrate my volume based what's comfortable in that position. I've also trained myself to cup my ear if I roll on my side. That helps me avoid mashing my ear/earbud into an odd position that closes off the sound completely.
This has worked well for me if you decide to continue with earbuds.
If it works for you. Just make sure you use a reasonable volume for the type of speaker/earbuds/headphone you use. I never use headphones or earbuds except in rare cases, or when I'm building and verifying the audio. Much simpler for me to just use my cell phone.

so actually i think if you set it to 5/15 it should be fine, thats how i do and i can easily sleep with it running.
and its not too silent because the US is directly in your ears (also in the forums it saya never listen to us in higher then 25% on eaephones)
so maybe try 5/15 instead, atleast thats what works for me
Do you find even with using a hybrid track on 5/15 volume your getting results as far as dreams and mental changes?
I'm open to experiment as long as its comfortable for my ears but I don't want to risk future results with the volume being too low when I can have the volume full blast with a masked track...

Yea im 100% positive.
in the Faq it is stated that in hybrid the US track is 1-3dbs louder then the masked.
and if you can hear the masks lows and high even faintly, in us itll be louder.
i only used 5/15 in my galaxy using regular earbuds and i def feel it working,
but if you wanna try mixing that can be even better.
what i mean is, use masked for a week, see how you respond, then use hybrid with this setup for a week, and then you can gauge if its really works better

That makes sense. I will definitely try a speaker/phone speaker set up once I get back on my own but for now Bluetooth headphones is my best option.
I understand that the masked track may not be the strongest track compared to US and hybrid but I just want to get the ball rolling and try to make some changes.
I've read in different journals in the past on this forum of people using only your masked tracks and over time experiencing changes they never imagine within themselves. That was with your old technology.
I have faith that your new technology on a masked track can do the same if not greater for me given I have the compatible personality type that you mentioned in another post I researched and enough time.
Either way I have 30 years of mental bullshit im trying to clean up and straighten out and it won't happen over night. Trail and error is key. Im just glad I have a program I can be proactive with to try to fix my problems.
Cycle 1 Off Day
The trend continues with more weird vivid dream that I vaguely remember and understand the meaning of. In my last dream I was at what seemed to be a backyard day party with girls had a had a crush on in the past but never pursued and an ex girlfriend.
Nothing came of it but it was weird that girls I haven't thought about in years were present. I don't know if im tripping but I also seem to be getting a little dehydrated but I'm not 100% sure if it's the sub or what but I've been quite thirsty for water.
No changes as far as feelings of fearlessness on a social level. Im still timid talking to people I don't know in and out of truck stops and I absolutely hate small talk and shy away from it. Rome wasn't built in a day so im going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
Also I may have to get a smaller size pair of sleep phones cause they kind of slip off while I'm sleeping so it maybe affecting my programming.
