Full Version: Personal Cloud Storage is not listed in anti-piracy FAQ?

Hi,

I just read about that feature when I had already uploaded the copies to my personal Google Drive. Only I have access to it (as far as I know).

Is this a fair use? The FAQ mentions only copies on devices like phone, tablet, CD, etc.

If uploading to my personal cloud storage was a mistake, can I reverse it by simply deleting them and making copies only on the devices I own?

Thanks!

Fair use doesn't care how many copies you make or where or how you store them. What matters is if anyone else can access, copy, use and/or distribute them.

The only way someone else can access or use it and have it remain fair use is if they are exposed while you are using it for your own benefit, as a side effect or as a "me too" exposure.

So cloud storage doesn't matter. It matters of someone else can access them, use them outside of the above scenario, make copies, and or distribute those copies.
Excellent. Thanks for the clarification and the great work!

I'll write reviews/testimonials in the coming weeks. I'm one of those that started benefiting from a 4g program on the second day.
