USLM [Day 13] || DRS [Day 26]

I experiment again and incorporate little useful things into my daily routine. It's really noticeable. USLM is working its magic. Whenever I used it in the past my quality of life increased over time due to the accumulated effects of all the little things that I set up or bought or implemented. And it is happening again. Which makes me beyond happy.

I am brimming with euphoria. It's like a tidal change has happened or as if I am waking up from a slumber that began five or six years ago.

For the past 3 nights, since being freed from the latest night shift, my sleeping pattern is really strange. 10 PM to midnight I get really tired and go to bed. Roughly 5 hours later I wake up and am unable to get back to sleep. So I get up. Then I am active until noon, when another wave of total exhaustion hits and I become unable to do anything. That's when I sleep another 4 to 5 hours. Rinse and repeat.

I am somehow unable to break this cycle. Waking up is accompanied with rushing thoughts, which are more like many different people talking about something and everyone about something different, like a beehive. Most annoyingly everything is opionion and nothing sound knowledge. Kind of like a typical comment section or a twitter feed. I guess that qualifies as one type of hell in my book, but fortunately its not a permanent consciously noticeable thing.

In this state I am functional, but not productive.

PS: Have I mentioned that I really like the font used here? I really like it. I think I will use it as a system-wide standard.
I love this journal. How can I download version 3?. All i have is 4.1 and every one is talking about v3

Version 3 of USLM is not longer available. Once a newer version of a program has been created and unleashed, the older versions go bye bye. The way of life Wink

You will have access to v4.[current minor version +1] here in the not too distant future, which I believe should return us to the results of v3 and improve on them.

Luck/Synchronicity: Yesterday I stumbled upon a method (without actively searching) to help myself fall asleep.

While in bed pull your toes to your face -- the opposite of curling them -- hold while counting to ten -> relax while counting to ten -> rinse and repeat 10 times. A simple relaxation excercise. But it works well. I fell asleep really fast.

When I woke up some hours later, my mind was brimming with thoughts. I did this excercise again and once more I was able to easily drift back into sleep. This is a welcome help for someone insomnia-prone like me.

For my personal future reference: started supplementing with Ashwagandha today. After 30-45 minutes a mild migraine headache vanished. 1-1.5 hours after dosing calming/focussing effect.

Why do you think that versions 4.0 and 4.1 did not work as well as version 3 ? Any ideas ?

I agree with what has been said on this thread so far. For me, v3 was great, but I did not have much success or luck with the 2 newer versions, 4.0 and 4.1. I am looking forward to the next improvement of this series.

I agree with what has been said on this thread so far.  For me, v3 was great, but I did not have much success or luck with the 2 newer versions, 4.0 and 4.1.  I am looking forward to the next improvement of this series.

Something triggering more resistance than it can overcome, to be sure.

Thanks Shannon. I am hoping that you will know how to fix that ! I know you don't like to give exact times when new versions will be out, but is there a ballpark estimate ?

If I go back to using v3, and you release v4.2 before I am finished with my 3 month run, can I switch to the newer version without a waiting period ?

The past week in three words: social rockstar mode.

No matter what I do or what I talk about, people flock to me. My baseline sociability is pretty good already, but this is way above baseline. Thanks to DRS (which is literally working as an energetic snowplow) there are no haters. For instance, there is this one guy at work that always was somewhat standoffish -- the I-have-something-to-prove/better-than-thou type. These days he is stumbling over words or keeps unusually quiet when I am around. He is becoming a bit more agreeable and friendly, too.

So far I enjoy this subliminal combo ... A LOT!
USLM [Day 28] || DRS [Day 41]

The last ON day in each DRS cycle is like a struggle. I am always exhausted and have the thought that it is burning me out. Then, at the end of the seven OFF days I am actually looking forward to running it again.

Looking back at all the little things that have changed over the past 28 days, I am really glad to run USLM v3. The way things come into my life one little piece at a time is enjoyable. But seeing the accumulation of all this makes me realize just how much is happening. Compared to the months prior USLM it is a noticeable contrast.
