I will drop LFC. After thinking the past few days through, I realized that I get cranky and restless in an anxious way whenever I run LFC. I am pretty sure that this is LFC not playing nice with LTU, since I haven't experienced such a strong feeling of turbulence on my 200+ days of my previous LTU 5.5G run.
So ... bye bye LFC itm.
But since first reading @
Infinite's account of her DRS experience I have become curious. And now reading @
Have at ye's and @
K-Train's take on it ... makes me want to try it as well. So I gave myself an early christmas present, since I finally got through this nerve-wrecking and seemingly neverending revision of my manuscript
Now this is interesting. I put DRS on after I completed the download and went to bed. Within 5 minutes some kind of tension above my diaphragm dissolved. About half an hour into the first loop some kind of tension somewhere between my throat and my solar plexus dissolved. I drifted into sleep. Woke up during the second loop and immediately noticed that my whole body is wrapped into some warm layer. I only ever had similar experiences on DMSI, so I venture the educated guess that I am projecting an auric field. Kind of nice, gives me a sense of achievement in a way.
Anyway, shouldn't I have noticed some kind of auric projection on UMS or LTU before since they include auric shields? I am sure I would have noticed, since this sensation right now is something well above my sensory threshold.
DRS is not the same sort of shield. It is also a focus fire. That makes a difference too.

Thanks for the clarification. That is food for thought.
Day 13
There is a cyst of fear somewhere around my solar plexus. This has very much to do with finishing my manuscript. I fear being yelled at and ostracized by my supervisors. This is at odds with reality, since the content is good and my supervisors have been nothing but kind and supportive. I think this stems from two things, one - I fear the criticism and exposing my thoughts/writings to the world, and two - yet another unresolved father issue, where criticism and screaming/beating where almost inseparable in my childhood.
Day 16
Not much to write about. I think I noticed an uptick in people flocking around me. Seems they enjoy being in my close proximity without necessarily having much of a connection/relationship with me. This coincides with me dropping LFC and starting DRS, but well ... correlation vs. causality.
I stumbled upon an article that described different brain reactions to electrical, audio and visual stimuli at 40 Hz. Which led me to dig a bit deeper into this subject, including clinical studies in mice and humans. Very interesting stuff and pretty low tech and easy for DIY experiments. So I fired up Audacity and built me a nice 1 hour sine sound at 40 Hz. Listening through my high-end headphones is a joy. I will try to get in at least 1 hour per day from now on.
Since I read several reports of people that either helped alzheimer's sufferers to alleviate their symptoms to a degree or noticeably improve their own recall ability after several weeks/some months (at 1 hour per day 7 days a week), I am going to keep an eye at my own ability to recall memories and newly learned stuff.
LTU [Day 17] || DRS [Day 5]
Since I added DRS to my daily mix, I am getting regularly the thought that I am shielded against external negativity. Like a reminder of sorts. My dreamscape has been changing since then, too. The dream content is noticeably more elaborate, although the most of the underlying themes (fear, flight, conflict) are quite simple. I have a nagging feeling that I am working through stuff better than before starting DRS.
LTU [Day 20] || DRS [Day 8]
Not much to write about at the subliminal end of things.
The 40 Hz experiment, however, is interesting. Two days ago, I switched to play the 40 Hz through my speakers. The first thing I noticed is that it feels like a light whole body massage. Kind of tingling all over from the inside. While listening to the sound I am noticeably more alert, awake and focused.
I also tried to use it during sleep once (starting it automatically ~3 hours after falling asleep), which resulted with me being wide awake after only a couple of minutes and unable to go back to sleep for two hours. Just the outcome you would expect. But I tried it, since I read about a study in which test subjects where given a pulsed 40 Hz stimulus during REM sleep, leading to a 70 % success rate of the subjects having a lucid dream. And lo and behold, me listening to 40 Hz during the day for one or more hours lead to a lucid dream last night. Since I can count the number of lucid dreams I had in my life on one hand, this is a pretty good and welcome result.
Try 7.83Hz as well, although that's more for "grounding".
BTW., Shannon's got some neat frequencies to play around with in his store, should you be inclined to try a store-bought option.

The Schumann frequency does not interest me, since it is in the high theta-band. I am interested in gamma.
And I am also not interested in binaural beats, but in experiencing the 40 Hz soundwaves themselves. But thank you, I bought the meditation set and the core states of awareness set years ago.
LTU [Day 22] || DRS [Day 10]
There is/was some resistance stuff going on. But I am not convinced that it was triggered by the subliminal input. Since my previous LTU run, I began to record several different things that I do. This allows me to discern patterns and change behaviours. The single best list I created was my cigarette list. I meticulously recorded how many cigarettes I smoked each day, setting up a 'when' instead of an 'if' variable that I would quit eventually. Another list for another behavior/bodily cycle seems to correlate with me being cranky/feeling resistant lately. I am going to keep an eye on it.
I will run LTU solo again. But I am looking forward to hopefully having DRS integrated into LTU 6.
Lately I have been unable to fall asleep while playing my LTU loops. Or to be more precise, I fall asleep for one or two hours (provided that I am suffiently tired) and wake up after that and am unable to get back to sleep until all the loops are done. Once the loops are over I fall asleep almost within minutes. This is happening regardless of high or low volume. Although I entertained the thought that it might have to do with me exposing myself to extended periods of 40 Hz soundwaves, I find it highly unlikely since I use the 40 Hz sounds directly after waking up. So there is at least a 10 hour window between that and going to sleep (or trying to).
You can train your brain to stay in a specific level of awareness. Listening to too much 40 Hz will do that. I believe that watching too much TV, movies, playing too much video games, and using the phones and computers too much trains the wrong state of awareness while we are awake, which results in ADD/ADHD. These didn't exist before we got all this audio visual technology. They trigger alpha and theta states, and the longer we are in that state from brainwave entrainment, the more we train the brain to maintain those states.
Using BWE is also counter to the ITM state shifting in the program. Using it even an hour a day will eventually train it into place.
