To be honest it was probably partly myself pushing my luck because I could; although I didn't see it that way at the time. A lot of the tension came directly from my dad as he didn't like seeing me become so confident, self assured and 'my own man' with my own opinions and beliefs; my ability - and no one else right - to make my own decisions. I can see why that would be threatening for any father but over time my dad realised it wasn't a direct threat, or response towards him but my own growth towards becoming a man. Perhaps this change at 21 that makes me a bit of a late bloomer but it seems to me that I'm now much more of a man than the majority of 30 and 40 year old's. It's this reason I believe every man should, as a right of passage, use the Alpha sub. I still have a healthy relationship with my parents. In fact probably more healthy now than before. The dynamic has changed though. I'm no longer in my dads shadow; or anyone else's for that matter. I know that change can be fearful, especially if is involves the relationship with your parents but I firmly believe I am - and anyone else would be too - much better of for using the Alpha sub. That applies to all areas of my life, including my relationship with my parents.
That's is a perfect answer to me, thank you.
