Become A Successful Entrepreneur 5g.

Quote:Stage 1, Day 2:

- Woke up an hour before my alarm went off. I got dressed for work even though there were still several hours left for me to have to be there. I used that time to sign up for and begin a video course that teaches about day trading (stocks) and completed the first video module. I also made a business connect on Instagram and was referred to a couple other resources concerning day trading.

- I also was finally able to speak with someone in regards to a financial move I've been trying to set into motion for over a month now. Things are still pending, but if it all goes according to plan, I'll be making an extra $2,400 a month without even getting a second job. That move can set me up financially for the next two years. I plan to use part of that extra income to begin trading stock and investing.

- I already notice myself becoming increasingly assertive, building upon the assertiveness I gained while running AM6.

- Even though I'm in a great mood, I find myself joking a little less the past couple days, more than likely because I'm so focused on getting things done as quickly as possible. I'm even handling personal business in-between processing orders at work and still remaining productive.

- The people sitting next to me aren't really talking to me today unless it's to ask me work-related questions, kind of like a supervisor, although we have joked around a couple times through the day. They even thank me every single time I help.

- I'm juggling tasks and instead of feeling like I'm going to explode, I'm taking things as they come. Just a couple deep breaths and my stress level disappears.

Quote:Just ended the second day’s loops and I feel on top of the world. I feel like all of the little traumas from my life never happed. I can think back on some of the things in my life that have messed me up, and they didn’t happen that way. Or more I chose at the time to react to them differently. Even though I, well, didn’t. This thing is a past editor. There is some cognitive dissonance that should be bugging me, but it isn’t.

Quote:I had booked a $99 room and I saw that there was a problem with it, I got a free upgrade to a $350 room.

In Poker entered a 5 cent tournament, won that to enter a satellite and came in the top 40 to win an entry into an $11 tournament. Games were quite fun and between the two there would have been over 4000 players. Got knocked out of the big one but I put that down to making a stupid mistake.

I've noticed that I seem to hit traffic lights when they're green (at least 80 - 85% of the time).

Quote:This thing is definitely making me more social and less shy. I was painfully shy as a kid and throughout my teenage years through my mid twenties. I had thought that I had gotten over it a while ago. Partly through use of subs, and partly through just forcing myself to do it. However, (and I am just now realizing this now). It was forced and wooden with people I didn’t know well. I kept the talk to a minimum and just interacted as much as I had to. Nothing really felt natural unless I was among close friends and family. I didn’t really recognize that this was me working around a social phobia rather than actually dealing with it. I didn’t reciognise how much of my aloofness was the old fear.

That’s changing though. This afternoon I woke up and went to get my hair cut. I bantered with the lady who cut my hair when I used to just kind of sit there before. I’d never met this girl, but joking with her was easy and I enjoyed it. I put actual inflections in my voice (before I used to keep it as neutral as possible. I have an awesome voice and hadn’t been using it).

Then I went to the grocery store, and wound up having a long, light conversation with the checkout girl. She was cute, and about half my age. She told me a lot about herself without me asking, and was playing with her hair and doing all of that stuff. I am not trying to get that to happen, but it is kind of fun...

Quote:Small update after the third day: I'm not 100% certain yet, but it seems the FRM (Fear Removal Module) is working on overcoming my social anxiety. Usually when people I don't know (or actually often even with people I do know) come for a little bit of smalltalk, I cut them short or somehow try to avoid it. Over the last two days I found I have been much more open to socialising that way, and I feel more comfortable doing so than I have before...

Entry 4

I have something interesting to report today. I found a piece of jewelry on my route to the dining hall this evening. It's a bracelet lined with tiny diamonds. Fortunately/unfortunately, there is no real way for me to find its original owner. There are simply way too many people around.

I have no idea whether those diamonds are real or not. Similar looking bracelets on the internet are selling for $2000-$5000. I think I'd get at least $1000 if I were to find a way to resell. I saw @Infinite SO found some jewelry as well today which is interesting.

Quote:He forgot to tell me until now that he also found jewelry, for me. A 925 necklace with two charms, a pandora 925 bracdelet with 4 pandora charms (worth a minumum of $250), and a few other charms and a ring that appear to be pewter. Sweet! I love pandora.

There is also something else that happened to him, but I am going to wait to see if it comes to fruition.

He found about $700 worth of stuff today.
He got a job for $700.
