Indigo Mind Labs is now accepting applications for a new forum administrator-in-training position.
This position includes paid training for candidates who are accepted on a probationary basis for 30 to 90 days before a hire/no hire decision is made. Training pay is negotiable. You must submit an application and pass an interview before we can accept you for training.
If the trainee meets standards set and evaluated by Shannon and IML staff after a 30 to 90 day probationary period, they will be considered for the position of our official forum administrator at a negotiable pay rate to start with options for increase in the future. The best trainee to make it through the training period will be chosen by Shannon and Andrew for the position.
At any time during training, if the trainee is not performing at acceptable levels, we will evaluate them and either warn them and try to work with them on how to do what is necessary, or let them go.
The trainee will be responsible for gathering correct knowledge of and usage of the product through researching Shannon’s previous correspondences on the forums, as well as reading the FAQs and all store pages. In some cases, the trainee may work directly with Shannon to answer more challenging questions.
Responsibilities during training and if hired will include:
* Knowledge of, understanding of and enforcement of Forum Rules, both in letter and spirit. You must not just understand the rules, but why we have them, and what we are aiming to achieve with them.
* Answering common support questions up to Shannon’s standards.
* Preventing questions from being answered incorrectly by others.
* Helping Shannon and Andrew keeping the FAQ fully updated.
* Passing order and technical support questions to the back end through e-mail when relevant.
* Reporting errors or issues in the forum software or store.
* Welcoming, encouraging and responding to new users in the introduction forums.
* Making sure posts and threads are in the proper places in the forum.
* Gathering Testimonials through our Testimonials thread, and passing them on to the back end via e-mail.
* Being in charge of education of and responsibilities of forum moderators.
* Representing IML as a quality, trustworthy person and in a positive manner to our customer base while remaining honest about your experiences, being helpful to customers (customer service as far as you can be) and keeping our customers trust.
This job is to help Shannon and IML staff free up their time and focus as much as possible to do the things they need to do to keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes and keep it growing by making the forum run smoothly without their direct intervention. If you are doing your job right, neither of them will have to read the forum to make sure things are going well. Remember that the forum is where we show our customers who we are, as individuals and as a company. It is a big part of what sets us apart from the competition, and makes us trustworthy and worthwhile to our customers.
Ultimately, the forum must be maintained as an accurate source of information, as well as a warm, comfortable and inviting community where people can feel free to share their experiences with one another and help each other learn more about subliminals and grow through their use.
By allowing our customers to see for themselves what others are saying and experiencing first hand, the forum is our primary form of exposure, and it is your job to not only maintain it as an effective form of exposure by doing your job, but to enhance and improve it as well.
