Do you know specifically what the root cause is?

When I would meet someone new I would get ED during the first encounter and after that things would be fine.  In my mind when I would meet someone new during our first sexual encounter I was just trying to get it up and just finish in order to have sex no matter how quick it was.  I was just rushing just hoping to finish and have sex rather than our first encounter me not being able to get hard and walk away with nothing.  So those first encounters were always very difficult and i was under a lot of pressure.  

It was very hard to get it up during that first sexual encounter with a woman.  When it comes to what I think was the mental reason of it my thought is the original core of that issue could have been former religious beliefs about sex/fear of sex and STDs/performance anxiety/lack of confidence.

I think that issue from the initial first encounter kinda stayed for during the duration of my relationships to where maybe in my mind I was still suffering from that first encounter and maybe my mind and body are rushing just to finish.

Do you think OPE can help me based on what I just wrote?

Yes, but I'd like to understand further.  Are your encounters with different women on a regular basis, so that you're only ever doing new women?  Or do you have ongoing sexual relationships that allow you sex more than once?  If so, how many encounters does it require to get past the ED?  I see something here that might be helpful for you.
