I'm quoting Heisenberg / Walter White from Breaking Bad.
I've done 7 days so far. I've done 3 days on, 1 day off at 3 loops each.
Some inner shifts:
* I'm shifting my inner gears toward technical work; I'm reaching toward a loose technical plan that will be the foundation of a language-learning app. I will stress my knowledge of Natural Language Processing and database concepts.
* I'm becoming restless again (a VERY good thing) about how I'm not making money. Though during the previous couple of months, I couldn't drum myself up any level of motivation about making money, I'm not actively annoyed that my only source of income is a 9-5 tech job that doesn't pay that much.
* I'm feeling a growing urgency about the state of my country and of Western countries in general; I shouldn't be trying to create deep roots here because the financial numbers are fucked and getting more fucked.
Some outer shifts:
* During Boxing Day, I got a new brand-name belt for 8 dollars and awesome Diesel jeans for 22 bucks (Canadian money, so less in USD).
* My friend/mentor figure gave me career advice; get your PMP, get a Certified Business Analysis Professional cert, then join two board member positions, which I could provide value toward due to my expertise in various areas. THEN, he gave me Timberland boots, just because.
* Went to see a $10M dollar house (outside only) about 30 minutes away from my parents when I was there to visit. It's one of the houses that caught my attention on the Realtor house, and I've eyed it for months.
* A buddy from two years ago and I reconnected. He showed me an app that's been making him money, and he'll be able to onboard me in a couple of weeks. Apparently doesn't require much time, and when we met (by my parents), he showed me the app and satisfied any "is this a scam?" type questions.
