I am assuming its ok to play a loop on two tracks?

If you're using the same title, sure. It gets more complicated if you want to use two or more titles together in loop. But all two or three tracks of a given title all have the same script, so they're doing the same thing. Generally it's more efficient to just pick the format you prefer and use it by itself though.
