Hello,
I have to ask outright the primary mechanism of the subs, really, with an eye of what to expect and how to apply them to the greatest effect. I've cited the three mechanisms above, which I appreciate aren't mutually exclusive.
I've used a number of the subs here, and I've had some definite short-term benefits. Right now, I am way stuck, though, and feeling pretty worn down, I want to make sure I'm approaching this with realistic expectations and using them to the best effect.
My thought is that the short-hand sequence/process is:
imprint a thought/belief paradigm (i.e. effectively overwriting anything contrary)> spontaneously (i.e. subconsciously) modify behavior> elicit responses from others to reinforce the new paradigm> kind of an upward spiral, ideally, to reorienting one's life in keeping with (to express) the new paradigm
I see what plays out spiritually as being mainly moral/ethical, rather than transcendental, in nature ... at the level of the Super Ego, I guess you could say.
I've read quite a bit about subs and about the LOA and other things, really, only in the past year, and while some of it jives, there's some (like, invocations of Max Planck's ghost) that ... down to brass tax, I'd buy a rain stick and voodoo doll at this point just to have my old job back. But I just need to know what's what. The tried and true just isn't cutting it, and it's feeling a little like 1918 on the Western Front.
So, I'm curious to know what's working for people and how it's working. Or anything else, honestly.
Thank you,
Tim
