I think the Secret of the Universe is that what you appreciate causes you to get much more of; and conversely, the more you hate, the more things you are given to stuff your happiness up.
In a nutshell, the world is full of beauty, but it is hidden from you until you deliberately look for it.
To whom (thinks they have) plenty, more will be given unto them.
To whom (thinks they have) little, even that will be taken away from them.
Your perception of life is what counts. Two people can be friends, but one hates the world and the other loves it. Which one is right?
