Zen, you should really think about changing your screen name
I think a lot of people take Zen's sentences and phrases out of context....From a buisness standpoint, I agree with a lot of what he says, owning a business myself....Because he is so direct and to the point, he may come across as harsh and misconstrued....
In actual business, there are certain "realities" that cannot be "philosophized or justified" but come down to bottom-line results (not to be construed as winning at all costs or destroying value)....in business, you are in essence "creating another life" so-to-speak and you can't be careless or just hope for the best....you have to be VERY INTENTIONAL...
Since most people use money as a currency to exchange value and therefore, make a living, the user who is very serious about using a financial sub must give careful consideration as to what will benefit themselves, the customers/relationships, their family and the business itself (assuming a person is wanting to start/enhance their business)....not to mention things like taxes, retirement, banking & credit, negotiations, the global economy, their respective industry, trends in the marketplace, etc....(read the BAMM objectives list for examples)
In essence, sustainability and survival come into play with business and with some people there is a no-nonsense type of "personality"when it comes to business....say a Donald Trump (branding)
Other people are more carefree in their attitude and "personality" towards business depending on the type and their situation....say a Richard Branson (branding)
Starting, running, and keeping a business going (if that is the end objective) is one of the most challenging things on the planet, which is why there is such a high "failure" rate....you are not just making money, you have to actually build it and there are a lot of things that come into play along the way, seen and not foreseen....
It's interesting to see what BASE 5G is going to contain and actually what it's objectives are going to be....it's generating a lot of excitement and curiosity and is creating a lot of "buzz" amongst forum members because nobody knows what's actually in it yet or how long it's going to be.....
Within a short period of time we'll have those answers.....
