Haven't been here in a while, so glad to read of BASE getting upgraded soon! I'm sure Shannon knows what's best to go into it, since he created the technologies. And since what we know of them are mere names and short descriptions, I doubt we know little about what ought to be the best for it.

As far as I'm concerned with Shannon, he is a person of integrity and good faith. I doubt it's something like what zen mentioned about "cannibalizing BAMM" being "not good for business". Really, Shannon is beyond that. He just wants to deliver good products that work and help people. Besides, BASE is BASE and BAMM is BAMM, they may have overlap in some areas, especially when you are not clear about what you want in life (like "I just want to be rich!"), the descriptions may read the same to you, but that doesn't make them equivalent. They deal with different things and that's pretty apparent to me.

Like a suggestion, could you please include in the next generation of BASE - BASE 5G - the latest technologies:
Massively Polymorpic Multiplexing Engine
and/or
Magnus Engine ?

As I said in my journal, this is not going to happen. Primarily because the MPME will not come out of testing and development for several months, most likely, and BASE is probably coming out this month or possibly sometime next month.

Multiplexion of a script target is a very complex thing to do, and it's even more complex to do in a polymorphic manner, never mind "massive polymorphism", which I'm not going to explain because it would give away too much of how I'm doing this.

I haven't even finished figuring out all of what the Magnus engine does, and it's definitely on a whole new level compared to everything else. It seems to be doing stuff I never expected, and in some cases, stuff I didn't even consider possible for a subliminal component to do!

I have never seen anything act this way before, or do the things this is doing, and so I have to spend time really coming to understand what it's doing, how long the effects last per amount of exposure, and so forth, and how best to use it and how to make it safe to use. Once I do that with the Magnus engine, I have to turn it into the MPME, which is going to use entirely new scripting conventions, including a multiplexed self optimizing script, script wrapping, magnification, and polymorphic multiplexion of the target action.

In other words, I have the information on what I want to do, and what I believe is possible, but these things don't even exist yet except for magnification, and the polymorphic scripting exists as the Optimus Engine. So developing an MPME based program is going to take me a while.

Not only that, but even the Magnus engine has shown itself to be so powerful that it needs a limiter in place to make it safe, and prevent overloading. During one test, I managed to overload myself (in just 2.5 hours of exposure, and in a manner that was not exactly pleasant) before I realized that this thing is vastly more powerful and capable that I had imagined, and that it does need a limiter in place to prevent it from magnifying the target more than the body can handle.

So, in keeping with my motto of Safe, Effective and Useful, this is going to require a lot of testing to understand sufficiently to develop, and a lot of testing to make sure it is safe to release. That takes time. BASE will be finished long before this is.
