The subconscious is really powerful. Do you have reservations about how the statements are presented to the subconscious? Shannon knows what he is doing so you can rest assured that he knows how to word things for maximum efficiency. Hopefully he'll be able to clear things up for you. My knowledge is nowhere near his when it comes to the subconscious mind, but I do know that the subconscious tends to be very literal so being as specific as possible is better than being vague.
