RE: Instant MBTI - JackOfHearts - 03-24-2017

One thing though about the MBTI, the letter doesn't make sense to me. When I looked at the video, I attributed the type from the definition of the behaviour, not the letters meaning.
For example the SP type, The S means Sensing but I have a hard time thinking how that type can be sensing when what they are most interested in being blunt, acting, doing things, using their will.
I guess they have a different definition of Sensing than I have. So the letters themselves doesn't mean much to me, some of them do make sense though, at least partially.

But if I look at the definition of the type as a whole from the video it does make sense. And I do think he found the original 4 types that already existed in the Hindu system of Caste.

Anyway there is a lot of things that I don't agree with in the MBTI system but overall there are a lot of things that matches exactly. If I forget the labels and look at the definition, the core system matches.

Though like I said there will a lot of people who will have another dominant personality which may confuse them from their core personality.

Take Chaos for example as everyone know him well I think. In my system he is a Warrior type, the pure one, the direct one, who doesn't mess around and get things done, those people are likely to be very active people, people who will be noticed in general, they may do a lot of sports, get more injured, be more to the point, doing physical stuff, people who likes logics, who may have better reflexes of survival, more aggressive people. Alpha_mind was similar when he wasn't banned yet, this particular personality type may actually be banned more easily if they don't know when to stop, though they of course doesn't do it on purpose, they are more prone to be aggressive.

His second skill after his main core is NT and that's what Chaos chose as his primary MBTI.

Though you will have Warrior type people who will make their warrior type side less apparent, a lot less, Ben Warrior type is a lot less apparent, he may use his second skill "SJ – Logistical/Guardian – Sudras" more. This is because their warrior side is weaker or they have a dominant personality that is more apparent to people around them. It can be tricky for some people.

What's the type you chose ? I don't remember.

People may don't attribute themselves to another type easily but from what I have seen most people have the skills to attribute themselves to at least 2 different type easily, if I didn't know all that I could attribute myself to the Brahmin type easily, this is not set in stone in my opinion.
From I have I could attribute you to the NT more emotional, and to the mundane brahmin type (NF).
From what I have seen you have been doing music has a hobby, this career is attributed to Vaishyas, the NT type.

I type consistently as INFP. The letters don't mean that much. I go by the cognitive functions which are more telling. In my opinion MBTI isn't a personality type, it's how one perceives the world and processes information. You can get personality from it at times because the similarities in cognitive processing lend themselves to certain viewpoints. But 9/10 when people use it as a personality thing it just results in stereotypes.

Chaos is definitely INTP though. His writing style, his breakdown of chains of events, the strategy and planning, all of these things are very consistent with INTP. You can see the logical progression in his posts. Something that might interest you is the enneagram types. MBTI can be further broken down into subtypes using enneagram.

And to go a little further take a look at these two. These are INFP and INTP. They both have two of the same functions in the exact position as each other. This leads to overlap where both of these types exhibit similar behavior based on how their cognitive functions work. Take this whole discussion for example. An INTP would seek to compare the caste system and MBTI purely for the sake of tearing apart the systems and finding where the similarities lie and where they differ. Basically where the connections lie and how it all relates. It's purely for the knowledge. Whereas an INFP, such as myself, only takes what is relevant to me and what I feel is important. I don't really care about the complex inner workings of everything. I'll obtain enough info to feel I can make an informed decision and be on my way. Their motivations are different but sometimes on the surface they seem to exhibit the same behavior. But upon further analysis you'll see their drive for doing things are very different. That's why you see people being able to fit into at least two types, but everyone has their core type and that's it, they then can exhibit traits of other types.

The cognitive function doesn't mean much to me either. I tried to make sense out of it but it's a confused system to me. Anyway if one look how Carl Jung invented that stuff, what kind of stuff he believed in and how close it is to another system people wouldn't believe it. The similarity is too close to be a coincidence at least to me.
Take the example of Introverted vs extroverted which match the Yin vs Yang definition too well. Then you have 4 other letters which match exactly also, Sensor being earth, Intuitive being fire, feelers being water, thinkers being air. Again on this the definition match too well to be a coincidence.

Of course people would feel disrespected if you tell them they are more yin than yan, so he went around that by using the "Introverted" word. In my opinion that system was created so it feels more "politically correct".

If you take only how he process information yes Chaos is NT (using NT skills) because well SP isn't about processing information, it's about acting and doing things, so of course he wouldn't use his SP that much here, if you look closely at SP they don't process information at all they just act and that's the fire type, the real fire type. But if you look deeper, how "aggressive" he can be the way he is posting information, that's not an NT to me. If look at me you won't see that side. You also wouldn't see NT being too much into martial arts, at least not to this extent, it's like a passion for him, something that he will never stop.

I think I may have made a mistake on your type because I don't have the last information that I asked you. In the second category I wrote earlier you would be in the emotional "Vaishyas", if my guessing is correct, it would also match better the fact that you are into music.

RE: Instant MBTI - Daredevil - 03-26-2017

The MBTI has different definitions for common words such as sensing which means a person relies primarily on the pure input from their senses while intuiters filter and analyze those inputs more deeply.

I'm an INTJ and the caste system was a distorted system from it's conception to sort people based on their family and for priests to consolidate power and have a "stable" society. It wasn't a system that let you go into your natural skill area and distorted the Law of Cause and Effect and made people do rituals that aren't effective because they are just remnants of Lemurian mythology.

As I digress I think a better way to put the classification is with

King

Warrior

Lover

Magician

An NT would be a Magician because they seek to analyze nature and manipulate it through strategy cunning and common sense.

NF are Lovers who use sex and human connection to understand human nature instead of their intellectual mind . They are more mystical in nature while NTs are scientific in their approach.

A Comparison between an NF and An NT is Dr Doom and Professor X. Dr Doom is an INTJ while X is an INFJ. Dr Doom is Cold and secluded and is the ruler of his own country. Professor X has a team of Mutants that help.mutant kind be accepted into the human world. He is focused on connection and human ideals such as peace and unity with everyone participating. Thinks humanity and Mutants can live peacefully he is generally loved. Dr Doom on the other hand is more focused on dominating the World and revealing the secrets of nature. He is a master at Science and Magic because he knows they are one and the same. He is a master strategists that can plan for any heroes attack but his greatest enemy is him; when he is at his greatest he is the most powerful being in the marvel universe, when he is at his worst he is the most powerful being on Earth. Power is very important to him. Unity is important to Xavier.

Magneto is XavierS frenemy and is an ENTJ and is also a pragmatic type. He sees that humans don't like the Mutants and wants to get rid of them so he says let's kill them and rule the earth. That's how it has been since the beginning of time survival of the fittest. He is pragmatic and owns his own country too (Get the Picture) and like DR Doom he is most of the time right. As We see in Days of Future past movie, in 2023 Mutants are being exterminated left and right by sentinels created by humans to take out the Mutants. They reset the timeline to get rid of the event that exacerbated the hate between the two species but in 2029 mutants are still Damm near exterminated by the powers that be but now in a softer form in order to not invite attack.
