Your Life's Mission - Adri - 04-22-2015

Hey guys,

I'm currently struggling to find my life's mission... I don't know what it is, where to find it etc. Now this is a very important piece of the puzzle that's missing in my life, because I'm not as focused as I could be if I had found my life's mission.

Knowing it would allow me to focus entirely on it, and not waste time dabbling around, always finding a new shiny object to play with, but not getting anywhere...

So if you have some guidance, I would love it, I am lost Big Grin

Thanks guys, you're all awesome,
Adri

There are 2 ways to do that. Brainstorm and try to find a mission, see what entices you. or give up entirely and let it fall in your lap. Some people have to struggle trying to find a mission for a while and then give up for it to fall in your lap.

Here are the steps:
1. Create a problem.
2. Solve the problem.
3. LOL Big Grin

Thanks for your replies Smile !
I've already brainstormed so to say... and the things I come up are fine, but there are soooo many of them. Plus I don't sense/feel that this is IT... So back to the drawing board :p

As to your formula :

1. Create a problem.
2. Solve the problem.
3. LOL

Well that seems to me like a formula to find a market, not a mission for life. Here is what I mean by Life Mission:

- Something I'm good at
- Something I'm passionate about
- Something that makes society a better place

--- The problem with that, is that I cannot sustain passion for long enough, I'm unable to feel passion for an extended period of time. The longest "passion" I had lasted 1 year and a half. That's it.

Sooooo I guess my problem is finding my passions.

I can be "interested" in a lot of things... but this interest won't last...

Now as 4kingdoms says, passions don't last. Well I'm not really sure about this one, because I do believe we all have something inside of us, burning thing, something that can light us up like a Christmas tree forever....

Now what do I do about that ? Undecided How can I find it ?

(Oh, and if you want to debate whether Passions can last or not, I would be happy to see your thoughts on this one)

First thing first what are the activities that make you feel alive?

If you'll die tomorrow, what are the things you won't regret?

Take simple matters, the call of purpose isn't something that loud, but so small, deep inside your heart begging for you to listen.

This is my way of finding it.

This is your mission

You said that 'I can be "interested" in a lot of things... but this interest won't last...'

This is actually a great thing, If you listen to few more vids of this great man (please also watch 'ADD Kid To Millionaire Genius' vid) you'll realize that we are indeed living in the time of remix.
So being creative and loving lots of things is a great thing because all things will keep adding to your value.

I feel this post is relevant, beginning from the part where he talks about 'breakfast'.

tl;dr: try until you find it. So simple it's annoying.

Man I can totally relate. Everyone wants to feel like they have a sense of purpose in life, a reason/motivator to continue living and growing.

Are you in school right now? Maybe you're excited to finish and get started in your career.

What do you do for fun? Are you willing to try out new things and make new friends?

After putting yourself out there, you'll start to get a feel for who and what you connect with.
